Most things are packaged, if you’re gonna go salvaging food out of containers you OBVIOUSLY don’t take the things in open/damaged packaging, that’s just simple logic… Cmon bruh.

There are some packaged stuff sure. But there is also the “fresh meat” section. More like a semi butcher section. You just say i would want 1-1,5 kg that piece of meat(sry my english regarding meat products are bad). Takes a large knife, cuts it and asks if this size and weight is ok(since its obviosly difficult to cut exactly at 1kg). If I say yes, they put it in the bag, put a barcode on it and I am free to go?

Wtf is that ? So now people don’t trade Azerith armor because they will do recycling, and some people don’t trade because they don’t want you to get a better ilvl ?
While it is sad and disappointing for you maybe, the recycling part isn’t toxic in the slightest and neither is it about the trinket. It’s still people’s decision after all since they were the ones that it dropped for.

I never said screw you. I was just puzzled you seem to think all meat is sold and handed to you, just like that, with no wrapping, plastic container or anything around it.

I never said ALL the meat. But some can be aquired that way yeah. A bit suprising that it is not so customary in your country. At least apples are freely available right at your country? You can come to a stand and take 3 or 8 without any issues or is that also pre-packaged?

Of course they’re not packaged separately but my point still stands that if you’re homeless and taking food out of a container you’re obviously not gonna take meat that isn’t in an unbroken and tightly sealed plastic container like your example was.
Yes back to the point. While its difficult to imagine how do homeless people “operate” since I fortunately havent experienced it myself. But using my own logic. Even if the platic wasnt broken, do you think the staff will “gently place it” in the trash can? Most will just trow it in like a basketball. Package breaks can easily happen there.
And 2nd. Sure we are are using our common sense. But will a starving homeless person is going to be this “picky”?
I know a few people who are former homeless people and yes. Yes they will be. They’ve got it rough enough as it is they don’t need food poisoning ontop of it.
Ignore this kid, he never saw his entire life anything that’s not packaged. He thinks everything should be brought to his mouth on spoon by someone else, and if it’s not packaged then it’s third world LMAO (we have butchers here and I’m from EU). Maybe it’s time to turn off your PC/smartphone and take a walk outside to see the real world? Or maybe it’s too late for you…

Stop comparing Legion and BFA, we had sets in Legion and no recycling process, we got currency from other sources.
Now I’m forced not to give anyone azerite pieces because I need every small piece of this currency to buy MYSELF a higher ilvl piece of gear which will be an upgrade FOR ME.
That’s why its useless to cry for loot especially for azerite pieces. We ALL need them for recycling. So, ofc nobody is eager to share it unless you are with your friends and guild who works as a team.

I think a fact that demotivates some to trade loot also is that some people are just selfish, when they get their item, that’s it, not even a thanks, that is annoying, had it in dungeons.
