i got a behaviour warning today and i have not once “attacked” someone i only talk in blitz chat “why arent you going efc” “can we go efc…” etc and still apparently this is enough to warrant a behaviour notice, can someone please explain what blizzards method is for this because it just seems like multiple reports regardless of if they’re justififed results in mutes and bans…

Well do you see that notice that pops up just ignore it because you are entitled to freedom of speech just like anyone else.
Just dont abuse others and you are fine say what you like
Freedom of speech does not apply to private companies. Everyone agreed before buying Blizz products that they will behave according their ingame conduct etc.
A behaviour warning you see in the top corner of the screen is a reminder that you’ve been recently reported and should review your ingame behaviour.
It is not an official written warning or penalty, which you’ll receive in an email - social infractions starts at 7 days silence and so forth. If you do receive an official penalty you may appeal such actions.

A lot will come down to how you say things as well as what you say.
If you say “Be aware of the thing happening over there” or “Why are you idiots not looking over there” is different.

They sometimes refresh the Social Contract as a reminder so you have to browse through it again but there are no grammar or spelling changes that I noticed.

Actually you ARE free of consequences with regards to free speech, otherwise every country in the world technically has it, you just get shot afterwards in some.
But the point is this right only guarantees freedom from consequences from the state, not other individuals. Privately owned online platforms are their property, so it’s not the same as going out in the street and protesting against the govt for instance.
So Libel and slander aren’t a thing anymore?

You have to be accused and then found guilty by a court. Afaik if it was directed at official figures, they have to prove that you were knowingly spreading lies about them.
Yes you can behave accordingly and still speak free as long as you dont abuse other players while doing so my comment stands ignore the warning dont open it!
