Pet Delights, positivity thread #2

What if I take -ALL- of it.

That’s such a good skin.

Can’t wait to try it! I need a good support that can support… a noob Gold ADC.
I don’t even main ADC. I just love Jhin.

Rndom RP scenarios which make you feel a bit like of an adventurer. And by that I mean civilians paying money to be escorted somewhere safely, getting approached by someone hoping that you’ll help with breaking their friend out of the prison and so on.

Things like these are what usually comprise side quests in many CRPGs and it’s a breath of fresh air to have RP like this which is spontaneous and has no OOC planning behind it whatsoever.

I am very happy that I finally managed to beat Slave Knight Gael and Darkeater Midir in Dark Souls 3. Only recently bought both DLC’s for it, despite having owned the game since launch.

Minor progress in character writing as I settle the peculiarities of my pet elves. Vastly different folks though probably equally insufferable to other races.

The events of the Onslaught begin tonight.

End of last D&D session…

DM: ok guys, level ups will be next week so check your new skills in advance!
Players: can we roll for hitpoints now? [Everyone asks this.]
DM: sure.
Me: 2… again. Two in a row and the other was a 1 :frowning: [I roll d8s for health, so this is remarkably bad luck]
DM (kindly): roll again
Me: 2…
DM (irked): FS roll again!
Me: 8
DM: take it! I don’t want to balance encounters around you having half the health of everyone else.

And so my cleric gained 33% more hitpoints between level 5 and 6 :joy_cat:

Also mum left her flat for the first time since her surgery last month. I think dad is probably more relieved than she is, he’s been terrified to leave her home alone, so letting her sit with a neighbour for their birthday party gave him a very needed break

I get slightly more writing done and the depth of the characters grows. Having the right platform as an outlet is important so it’ll be text until such a time that they can be in games.

This is why I don’t like rolling for HP. We mostly play Adventurers League, where it’s a rule that you take a fixed amount of HP on level-ups instead of rolling.

It is a good day. I’m enjoying it.

A Tracer going up against Sigma in a room or a tunnel is a dead Tracer and it makes me pretty happy.

Pet Delight: Friday means party Day, time to crunk down to funky town.

I am proud and disappointed at the same time. Well done.

I painted my first Warhammer figurine today and I am legit pretty proud about how it ended up looking! Not perfect but a heck of a lot better than I expected!

Brother! What have you done! you’ve failed the Omnissiah!

One thing that makes me very happy is seeing players role playing normal people. A shop keeper or a herbalist.

They still have their own stories and player progression. Interacting with them makes the world feel more alive. Especially the shopkeepers. If you need to buy a special item, you can always count on them.

+1 to anyone willing to play a non hero character who supports others. They contribute to a more immersive community.

Yeah this is why I don’t think I’ve been in a group that rolls for HP since… uh… ever. Even in older editions my friends and I always took average rather than rolled, plus con. :v

I wish I had more time to paint my stuff, but I don’t want to field armies of grey/black statues… plus if I ever get back into WH I’ll probably be playing Sisters whenever they finally come out. And I doubt they’ll work well with the new contrast paints which basically do half the work for you.
