DA2 completed. I’d forgotten how ‘horror’ some scenes were, with camera movements, angles, and zooms that were both b-movie shlock and charming at the same time. I expect part of it is because it was all a story told by Varric but it really helped, since I don’t remember the other DA games doing anything similar to it.
Orsino’s end is still dumb, and apparently entirely because EA demanded another boss fight, but oh well. Headcanon is that Orsino admitted to aiding Quentin and Hawke just straight up executed him, and this is what Varric told to cover up the true events.
I remember when I first played it thinking Meredith’s super anime jumps were over the top, and they kinda are. Again, perhaps a vestige of Varric’s storytelling, but they did kinda give that to players in future games too so…
It’s a shame we never got to see the Tevinter that Fenris talked about.

Having to end a tabletop RPG session because of a hard IRL time limit when you need to finish off a final boss fight that is super dicey is the roleplay equivalent of edging send post

For some reason I hear the fans spinning while running games under Windows, and never while running the same games under Linux.
Even WoW, which runs equally well under both systems and is not exactly the most resource-demanding game.
(That’s not to say Linux is absolutely better, though. My arrrr! copy of Veilguard doesn’t run there out of the box and I haven’t bothered to fiddle with it.)

I’m GPU is having a stroke.
So I’m in clean up mode. Turns out it’s dusty as all hell. Don’t have a air duster, but have done what I could with a cotton bud till a can comes Monday.

Since I don’t like the legion cloth shoes, I decided to use the dark ranger general shoes, but if i am using one piece, may as well use more to match.
