Pet peeves: The return (Part 2)

Yes!
I walk through, stop at the memorial to pray for the fallen or similar and move on.
People staying there, screaming at each other and so on just doesn’t fit.

Went back to caestus character because I want a different armour set (and got to work towards the Bonefist)

First old lord dead is;
The Rotten

So, I got to most of the bonfires before the Old Lords but haven’t killed any of them.

i know at least one of you nerds in here plays ff14 on console

help me out

i’ve assigned as many buttons i can to the face hotbar, but i don’t like how janky it feels to switch from one hotbar to another for my other abilities. is there a better way to do it?

I hear you and descend from the heavens.

Go to character configuration, then hotbar, then custom and then activate expand cross hotbars.

Where’s my crate of Mountain Dew, moneybags

My caestus character looking great.

May change the crown later.

i’m sure i’ve said this before, but i would never subject you to that

you deserve better stonetower

Unconvinced. Give me my wakey uppy juice

Pressing R1 + button feels janky? You suck!

i mean anything that isn’t keybindings feel janky to me at this point. i just haven’t used this kind of control scheme before and the rotations are really involved.

i’m sure once i’ve used it for a while it will become a muscle memory thing

Have you considered buying a mouse and keyboard?

not sure how easy it would be to do that. i’d probably have to buy wireless ones and then get like a little lap table to rest them on

and then have my eldest not try and play with them when i’m using them. she loves keyboards and it’s a nightmare keeping her away from them. luckily she isn’t interested in controllers

A friend decided to cash out so I could try playing final fantasy online
and since I am not a jerk I am ofc giving it a sincere go, even though FF doesn’t actually interest me.

The world confuse me, names are hard to pronounce, and I feel like wow have some great systems that I miss in other mmos, such as the way wow handle transmogging compared to FF online, but that aside I am going through the story which took me a bit to get slightly interested, but overall I am not hooked, But I have around 26 more days before I give it a final verdict.

weird that they needed to cash out when the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV has a free trial, and includes the entirety of A Realm Reborn AND the award-winning Heavensward expansion up to level 60 with no restrictions on playtime

Yes but the website didn’t work so I couldn’t try it for free.
:man_shrugging:

oh wait yeah now i think about it didn’t they close free trials because it was too rammed

Closed buying the game too for a bit.

I haven’t been playing it much since I’m not a huge fan (shocker, I know.) but I have chipped away at Witcher 3 because I’ve got little else to play, and it’s on my SSD. My internet sucks, so may as well try it while it’s there.

Finally escaped the boring clutches of White Orchard. A bunch of quests failed as soon as I did the last quest there, so I’m assuming this place is getting razed in the next hour or so.

How shaved do these bozos want me to be, exactly?

I remember getting out of White Orchard was the hardest barrier to entry for me.

You can travel back there if I remember correctly, but maybe the quests are no longer valid.
