Grand Strategy Game.
Ah thanks!
And well, I have played Hearts of Iron 4 yes @Aerilen, though it has been a while!
Oooh, so that’s the one!
Much adorable Moof and Small Chunk.
But, also, uh, really glad you’re ok? I hope? As someone who recently (Well, eight weeks ago…) was also Hospital Bound
I was well enough today to make my doctor’s life miserable to let me out early (because he is the type of doc I have dealt with before and they are all act like complete buttholes, so i ain’t sorry.
Much love to all my ward nurses though, they are the real heroes.
He really was going to try and keep me there until Friday, I was 99% on Monday, full health yesterday and not putting up with that today.
EDIT: look, I get he probably gets a lot of people with my condition who got to A&E due to carelessness. But i was not one of them, what I ended up in for was a side effect of an abscessed tooth.
Also every doctor on that ward can go do themselves when I tell them to NOT to use alcohol swabs on me because i am basically allergic AND THEY DO IT ANYWAY.
DM: okay so you’ve normally tried to capture your enemies, so do you need me to track hit points of these guys once they drop to see if they bleed out before you can stabilise them?
My paladin: [crits twice, cuts two of them in half]
DM: Aight never mind
I got tired of my party trying to do this (for a few reasons) so now the bhaalspawn in the party have a chance whenever they non-lethally down an enemy to go bloodcrazy and murder them instead.
Happened for the first time in the last fight. The druid tried to bonk an enemy (who was otherwise innocent - the party was in the wrong!) on the head to knock them out. She blacked out and woke up a few moments later covered in brains and bone. Whoops.
I am usually the one who has to be convinced to let enemies live, which is very funny for me
I have decided after my 10th Humanities essay this month that humanities actually suck and we should continue wedgying every single individual that mentions this godforsaken, christless field of study. I would rather be working a 9-5 in retail currently.
Studying philosophy did that for me
Ethics philosophers get the wall
Have you considered writing your essay about how the humanities drain the humanity from you
I considered it but then I realised getting into my double-masters (oh my god) depends on getting a good grade and I don’t think the Qualifications Authority has a good sense of humour.
So instead I just wrote up 50 pages on the policy friction between Westminster and Holyrood Parliaments and the impact and consequences its having upon Scotland and the UK.
Why isn’t that a humanities study huh
What is more human than humour? It sounds like they possess an overabundance of phlegm.
“Dear Qualifications Authority,
You’re really making,
me feel the Durkheim,
theory of Anomie”
Yeah, this was my experience. I didn’t actually deal with any doctors, as I was just there post surgical recovery.
I was in the same boat of “Yeah, you’re not keeping me here” though, 99% due to the fact that patient #4 in our ward was absolutely not supposed to be there, but was because of lack of space/overflow, when he should have been in somewhere with proper Dementia care.
I won’t go into the details, but on the day they said “discharge” I was out the door as fast as I could.
I get one of my roommates had some form of throat cancer making it very hard for them to breathe and i feel deeply sorry for them, but how am I suspected to sleep through the night listening to THAT?
Also the food was giving me the runs in the end, now I am home and I am not running to the bathroom every 10 minutes with nothing to show for it.
i like my gw2 blorbos

Also my friend made this and it is both of us;
I have a B&M within walking distance and it is such a magical place to be in and we both love it.
So we now have our own unhinged B&M (and usually Nick Cage related) memes
Just looked up my arms, damn really going to be angry about the alcohol wipes now, I am getting flare ups on my main needle point.
We should all hate Amazon for its business and labour practices, not its fairytale tv shows.
