Im just curious what everyone is thinking about pet restrictions.
I have a few pets which i find more aesthetically pleasing to walk around with but i am limited in my choice if i need ferocity skills for instance.
I am limited in my choices even further if i want a special skill like a mortal strike or a slow effect.
I like exotic pets variety but it feels limited also if you want a certain specialization / skill.
We used to be able to change specialization, anyone know why they reverted this? Meaningful choice BS as a game design choice?
Would you like to be able to have more flexibility / choice or do you think its fine as it is?
Yes, I hope Blizz eventually gives us ways to have choices regarding the spec and abilities our pets have.
I even suggested in another post, they could simply make use of the existing, and useless, NPCs called Pet Trainers, as a way to teach our pet abilities from other families of pets, at the cost of losing their default ability.
They could even add some special currency for it, or some sort of “mini-game” like you have a Wolf to whom you want to teach Mortal Wounds, in order to do that you need to tame a pet that has Mortal Wounds, and then take both pets to the Pet Trainer and then your wolf learns the ability of the other pet. Stuff like that, idk.
Not a a lot of responses so this is not a thing for most people i think.
Im hoping for more flexibility / options myself, looking at the same skins gets boring for me fast.
Would love to be able to switch between specsabilities. Right now i use a scalehide for open world/solo content, raptor/hound for pvp and that’s kinda what i’m stuck with.
