Dear Community, I ask for your help.
Who is War Chaplain Senn? - Here a picture.
War Chaplain Senn is a character I sincerely hope Blizzard will not let disappear in silence.
She is part of the Lightblinded Vanguard encounter in The Voidspire, together with General Amias Bellamy and Commander Venel Lightblood. Blizzard describes them as former paragons of the Light whose faith has been twisted into ruthless fanaticism.
I understand that this is a raid encounter. I am not asking for the fight to be removed, rewritten, or taken away from players. I am also not saying that every raid enemy should survive.
But in Senn’s case, I respectfully hope that her story can still continue.
As far as I can find, her final death has not been clearly confirmed in official story text. Because of that, I truly hope Blizzard will use this open narrative space not to close her story with silence, but to give her one more chance.
It would not need to be a major storyline.
It would not need a cinematic.
It would not need a large change to the raid.
A single quest text would be enough.
A short NPC dialogue would be enough.
One quiet mention that War Chaplain Senn survived, was rescued, or is recovering would already mean a great deal.
Senn was not just a nameless enemy. She was a named servant of the Light, connected to Turalyon, to the Army of the Light, and to the struggle against the Void. Even if she fell into fanaticism, that tragedy does not have to end only with death.
A blinded servant of the Light can still be healed.
A defeated fanatic can still be given mercy.
A broken soldier can still find a way back.
A character like Senn can still be remembered with dignity.
Seeing three Light-aligned paladins placed inside The Voidspire, surrounded by Void forces and cosmic corruption, also makes Senn’s situation feel even more unresolved to me. That is why I hope for a later clarification that gives her a chance to live, recover, or be rescued.
Please, Blizzard: consider giving War Chaplain Senn that chance.
Not through a huge retcon.
Not through a major rewrite.
Just through one small sign.
A quest.
A dialogue.
A single line.
It really doesn’t need much. ![]()
Something that tells us she survived.
Thank you for reading, and to anyone who feels the same way:
please keep it respectful and let Blizzard know through official feedback channels.
