Pleased with extended weapon cross-transmog, but still an issue with heirlooms

I just discovered that now you can transmog between weapon types if it doesn’t affect combat animations. For example a mage can transmog between dagger, sword and wand. It even tells you it can’t do it if you try to shoot a wand that is transmogged to a blade.

BUT… the ‘one old issue’ with heirlooms makes this still vexing:
There is not a single heirloom wand!
And with heirloom redundancy existing aplenty due to PvE/PvP type, there are several heirlooms swords ans daggers, str and agi, but again, not a single caster sword or dagger! - Yet we got, a long time ago, an heirloom offhand, even though that only benefits priests and druids since they can use maces.

Furthermore, if you try to work around this issue, sorry, nope:

  1. No caster blades craftable, it seems. (OK, maybe wands? I gotta check. But how often do you want to renew? - I found only Enchanter’s Umbral Wand in BfA crafting. - Dalaran vendors have the Brimstone Igniter for ~100G, requiring level 30.)
  2. Rarely ever something affordable on the AH. (OK, but wands might.)

So leveling a toon in 1+1 config can be vexing.

I just love the convenience of not having to deal with this hassle but just equip an heirloom weapon.

UPDATE
Damn, so it’s still more restrictive than I thought. You can only mog wands into swords and daggers, but nothing else, it seems. So also no blade into a wand appearance.
