You now have three - Garrison, (Legion) Dalaran (still has all portals & the portal room, in the tower) & the standard one… how many more HS do you need?
But they’re adding a new portal hub in each capital city. So i don’t think they ruin anything, they make it better.
The problem is that they removed the portals BEFORE adding the new portal hub. Atleast we can still use old dala for portals.
New Dalaran takes more time to load in compared to Shrine. If you want to go to Shattrath City it is faster to go from Shrine>Shattrath than Dalaran>Shrine>Shattrath. That, and you also have a separate hearthstone for Dalaran exclusively, why would you bind 2 of them to the same location?
Regardless if you do or not that is still one extra loading screen to go through. Inconvenient considering the fact that, as I said, you have a separate Dalaran portal as a backup in case your main HS is on cooldown.
I have my normal HS in boralus, since we never got a seperate HS for BfA.
And then use dalaran HS if i have to go somewhere else.
But i also have a few collected teleport items, rings, trinkets, tabards and such.
Legion Dalaran still has 10 portals to other parts of Azeroth; whether you got to Shattrath via (Legion) Dalaran or Shrine, it’s still 2 loading screens.
Y’know I’m not entirely sure why you guys are arguing. You both agree that taking away the portals was done too soon, and both like that SW and Org are getting portal rooms.
So now it’s just that one of you prefers new Dalaran and one of you prefers Shrine. Maybe just leave it at that
