Portals removed from Shrine in Pandaria

I have my heartstone set to the Alliance Shrine in Pandaria for years now because of the access to portals.

I log in today to find that the Ironforge, Darn and Exodor portals have been removed.

I mean seriously who thought this was a good idea? Was it really that bad having some portals in Pandaria?

They are adding proper portal rooms in Orgrimmar/Stormwind soon, probably in January.

Why they prematurely removed the portals in the Shrines… I have no idea.

That is good to know. Any reason they also couldnt have left the portals in the Shrine as well.?

That is so 2012 :frowning:

Why not hearth in New Dala?

New Dala has a separate hearthstone. Having a second hearth with portals was useful.

But New Dala has more portals than Shrine, including 1 to Shrine

yeah, i never really understand people using shrine still. New Dala have the same portals as shrine + a few extra portals.

I guess you guys dont understand the concept of separate hearthstones.

Same ‘person’ who decided to remove the portals that weren’t for Stormwind or Orgrimmar from Shattrath City.

You now have three - Garrison, (Legion) Dalaran (still has all portals & the portal room, in the tower) & the standard one… how many more HS do you need? :stuck_out_tongue:

Horde got an inn placed just beside the portals. Not on the first floor like at alliance.

retard Blizzard why removing portals? Dis is a crap idea. Like all the time Blizzard ruin their own game. SRY DIS ISNT BLIZZARD DIS IS ACTIVISION

They’ve done it before – if you’d played long enough you’d know to expect it… at some point.

Oh yeah, i forgot that.

But they’re adding a new portal hub in each capital city. So i don’t think they ruin anything, they make it better.
The problem is that they removed the portals BEFORE adding the new portal hub. Atleast we can still use old dala for portals.

New Dalaran takes more time to load in compared to Shrine. If you want to go to Shattrath City it is faster to go from Shrine>Shattrath than Dalaran>Shrine>Shattrath. That, and you also have a separate hearthstone for Dalaran exclusively, why would you bind 2 of them to the same location?

You might want to try upgrading you system HDD to a SSD unit - that should speed transitions up.

Regardless if you do or not that is still one extra loading screen to go through. Inconvenient considering the fact that, as I said, you have a separate Dalaran portal as a backup in case your main HS is on cooldown.

I have my normal HS in boralus, since we never got a seperate HS for BfA.
And then use dalaran HS if i have to go somewhere else.
But i also have a few collected teleport items, rings, trinkets, tabards and such.

Legion Dalaran still has 10 portals to other parts of Azeroth; whether you got to Shattrath via (Legion) Dalaran or Shrine, it’s still 2 loading screens.

Y’know I’m not entirely sure why you guys are arguing. You both agree that taking away the portals was done too soon, and both like that SW and Org are getting portal rooms.
So now it’s just that one of you prefers new Dalaran and one of you prefers Shrine. Maybe just leave it at that
