Prayer of Mending mends nothing

I recently started doing M+ on my priest alt, and the total healing for the Prayer of Mending heals for 2% of the total heals. Completely useless.

I guess it kind of depends on the talents you use.

As Oracle (+15% PoM healing + extra charge + direct heal + shield on use + automatically applied to a 2nd target + some other fancy stuff related to PoM), with Prayer of the Virtuous (2 extra hops), it actually often ends up between the 2nd-4th spot on the healing meter (on my alt). Especially in situations where 2 players have a debuff it can bounce back and forth quite nicely.

I’m just following the icy veins’ suggestion. So I havent tried your build.

I find mine being in the top healing in my Oracle build (Holy Priest) and an innitial heal critting up to 65k in my current gear.

Prayer of Mending does a lot of carrying for me. Not that I’m too competitive with M+ runs and am focusing on other characters, but it makes me feel comfortable.
