You wish this was quarter baked
Just how many more delayed games that still come out a complete disaster do we need to see before people realise there’s more to the story?
Dragonflight may not be officially delayed, but sensible expectations did predict it would come out far later than the usual cycle.
Considering the pathetic content cycles in Shadowlands, it may well be they’ve been working harder on the next expansion more than usual. Maybe they figured (even more than before) that the best money thing to do is to sacrifice the current one and focus more resources on the next.
50 euros for farming same content for 4 seasons?
No thank you, good luck tho, because you will lose more people than in SL.
well i would buy this expac with dragons but blissards system wont take my cash and i was trying to buy the £74 version, i think the game is trying to tell me something , maybe the game is as bad as shadowlands
Going down the same hill
I pity the fool who will pre-purchase this and they didn’t even saw class changes or any changes at all
It will be a show, i promise you.
From season 4, to pre patch, to the god awful class design we will have.
Thousand of well written and constructive feedback ignored.
I have absolutely zero trust in the class design team.
well they did say development was quite far ahead didnt they? in that case im gonna have abit of faith in them, i mean they know they cant afford to **** up a 3rd time in a row. and tbh for all shadowlands and bfa’s faults i still enjoyed them and got my moneys worth, and will no doubt enjoy this xp as long as they dont mess up majorly.
I don’t have any faith into AB anymore the moment they announced Diablo Immortal Release and said “It won’t be P2W” and it turned out to be the most P2W title released ever.
Show me some glowing reviews of DF beta and I will happily pre-purchase!
But after BfA then SL I have a bit of a loss of faith about how the QoL and game systems will be at the launch of new expansions.
My trust can certainly be earned back, and I welcome attempts to do so, but it’s currently rather dented.
WoW players will never be happy with any decision.
true. but BFA and SL lowered further the faith in blizz. 3 bad exp in a row could be… problematic
I think the expansion will be like any other expansion when it releases, which is fine with me. But I am also not one to grieve over the state of the class balance or the systems design, and I don’t have particularly high standard on those matters either, as more competitive players tend to have.
What an early release (I assume around Christmas like Shadowlands) does tell me, is that what they’ve shown is what it will be.
I remember after the reveal of Dragonflight there was some talk about how Blizzard could still announce more features because they would have so much time for development.
That’s definitely not happening. What they showed at Blizzconline is what it is. Nothing more.
If anything, one might worry that aspects of the expansion will be smaller in size and scope than what one might have imagined under the assumption that Blizzard had around a year to work on Dragonflight.
Features like the Professions overhaul, solo gameplay with questing and reputations, and the new talent system.
All of those features are easy to imagine as very impressive if a design team can work on them for a whole year. But they become far less impressive if you have to assume that a design team has less than 6 months to complete them.
But we’ll see.
The mistakes were in game design, not rushing content out.
As long as the game is designed to be an addict 'em up things will never get better. People will complain about the hamster wheel awfulness but will nonetheless play it for hours and hours a week.
So in other words it will be as bad in the general scheme of things, because players aren’t showing any real signs of rejecting this poisonous game design.
You know…
Normally i also would laugh but the SL beta had so much good written feedback in the classes threads and also the gigantic pvp thread (Us Forum btw) had great conversation and ideas and ignored almost everything.
The huge PvP thread got over 1k posts and got totally ignored.
For someone like you who doesn’t participate in your so called big three it’s easy to laugh because you don’t care about it either way.
But let’s just hope that the feedback about open world content doesn’t get ignored and end up empty handed again
the problem with players feedback is these are billions. ppl want one thing and the opposite.
Blizz, update old crafting recipes, plz. Ty
