Whaaa?
My character went all hippie just because of this awesome dragon…
My Characters are a Hunter and a DK, This dragon would never see any use.
I got plenty of use out of the Shadowlands Transmogg.
But i mostly bought it so i could change my Dk to An allied race :>
I get that, but the US forum had really good feedback, from classes to pvp etc.
The whining started when they saw that it got ignored for months.
Take the ret 2-set piece, 2 months of feedback on EU and Us that it’s so bad.
Only after release they had to buff it twice.
It’s amazing that anything you guys do nowadays comes off as low effort cash grab. Probably because that’s what most of it is.
But seriously. Alpha testing didn’t even start yet, but you guys claim that it will come out this year. Either it’s true and the game will be playable during 10.3 only after “you learn from your mistakes” after the shortest testing phase ever, or it’s just a pre-order bait and it will be delayed to february-march SWTOR style and only half of the game will be broken.
You guys also start to sell the game this early, because sadly its working and people most likely already spent money on the epic edition when we literally know nothing about the expansion other than going back to old talent trees and selling it as new stuff and dragon riding.
Actually shameful.
with expansions its hard to tell wether it will be good or bad. WOTLK was good, Cata was bad, MOP was great, WOD was bad, Legion was good, BFA and Shadowlands was bad.
i have faith in Dragonflight, but not enough to prepurphase at least without seeing some information about it. That being said i am awfully excited as a Ysera fan her death and rebirth is the only cinematic in gaming history that made me cry. Im excited to be creating a Green Dragon lady. but as ive said, i will wait and see how it goes. please dont fail me now.
Not going to pre-order after SL.
My main is hunter (and honestly my only level 60 alts that I have are ALSO hunters). This will see use. On one of them at least, for sure. I am sad (once again) that hunters don’t wear leather, so that I could put on some awesome druid stuff.
Normally it would have been announced last year already, don’t forget that. While it does feel off at the moment, they might be further ahead with testing than we think. We’ll soon find out.
Thank you! I am going to pre-order soon! Cant wait for alpha/beta!
No, I dont think I will
I can barely afford food and coffee with this inflation going on i think i save my money
If it’s one thing I’ve learnt, is that no matter how long we wait for them to release an expansion or patch, the polishing will be done on live servers, as the players are being used to test and fix their bugs and problems
You could actually skip to the last boss with a warlock from there if they placed portal right. Didn’t make it out of the beta.
Talents that triggered despite not having them selected. Didn’t make it out of the beta either.
Not to even mention the amount of invis walls that blocked you in random places that I reported.
The biggest problem with the open world content is that it is way too static, once many players have finished levelling there isn’t that much to do in the open world. Regularly changing world quests and the daily emissary/calling just doesn’t amount to much. Even the bfa/legion assaults don’t add much to this. The open world needs more dynamic content/events and it wouldn’t hurt to have more open world bosses/hard to kill elites that require a true group effort to complete.
I think that creating interesting and engaging open world content is about as hard as buying and playing a non-mmo game for 30 mins to be able to rip the ideas from there. The issue is not that it’s impossible for wow team to come up with new gameplay, but rather that blizzard does not want to. Why? Could not tell you. My best guess is the resources are committed elsewhere
They did say a while back they now have a team (or more people, I can’t remember exactly) for open world stuff so its more possible than it was before, that’s if they put a lot of effort into the open world.
I mean, they always put a lot of effort into the visuals of an open world. The art team consistently ups their game every expansion.
OTOH, I’m not sure the plans for how the landscapes will play are clearly laid out by the time the art team has finished, and it feels like they were designed to be flown over rather than ridden around - and yet flying took a long time to arrive.
Fingers crossed there is an actual overall plan this time, not “here’s a cool landscape we painted, put some NPCs on it”.
read the room. its too expensive. lower price by 20euros across all versions
legion was worse than wod
Ooft, pay that amount of money during a global cost-of-living crisis and having seen barely any content or details for this new expansion?
“A fool and their money are soon parted…”
