I found this on reddit and thought I would share. It gives a preview of what the large exterior houses for both Alliance and Horde will look like.

I seriously don’t get the appeal of these large exteriors. The mediums are almost too big as it is and seeing as how the plots won’t get any bigger you’ll just be left with a giant McMansion with little room for anything else.
Wish we could trade em in for more decor budget.

Blood elf one looks so disappointing. Housing designers must really hate symmetry but extending another side (the one not already affected by medium exterior) would have been much better than adding a platform imo.

Seems to be many that are a bit disappointed and were hoping for something more. Personally I was expecting the medium house to be converted to large with module attachments. So in place of a window, chimney or tower you would able to attach a new wing, balcony with a view, roof top garden etc. Essentially turning a medium into a large house. Other comments were the hopes of going vertical rather than horizontal.
Looks like houses with functional additions will be strictly reserved for the cash shop.

The large sizes to take up a lot of room in the plots- there is still space to decorate the garden but it is a little cramped so I am pretty sure we won’t get an extra large - unless they decide to build upwards and give us some multi storey options!
That said the extra customization “hooks” do add a lot of options to jazz up the look of the building.
Is there any difference between Medium and Large for the Blood Elf house, except the small tower?

I was kinda hoping that the last level house would be a tree house exterior.

On the PTR there are two extra options for house exterior - but they are currently broken so we’re not able to see what they will be.
Blizzard did day that a recently datamined treehouse would be available to earn in game - so we’ll be getting one sometime in the near future!

Yeah, I was quite excited about going from Small to Medium…then seen how much space it took up. I think Large would just be excessive.

I dont see the difference with medium size about sin dorei o__o
And there is already a big issue with medium size and actual plot size
I feel like the blood elf large exterior just kinda looks like they slapped a big stunted spire on the back and called it a day

T…that would be ok… but…
… now I want a Green and Purple Tentacle Pet idling around in that Mansion. And I need an exhaust Pipe for the outside and a placeable green slime river.
they had a missed opportunity with the BE one, they should’ve done the extra platform in the back as medium without the sideways zit, and added a floating platform to it for the large one instead of what we got now…
