Soloque only, double your CONQUEST reward from DEFEAT.
Reset from collect.

Play against your pride, gain skill towards arena.

This should balance out premades versus randoms.

Premades should only go against premades.

Keep getting defeats like 9/10, but then that one victory would be one big collect.

Wait wait, behind the warrior-brained post there is something interesting.

Is he saying that if you loose you get a bonus buff on conquest at your next win, stacking?
Not a terrible idea.

He is saying, every loss to count as a multiplier for the rewards when you win.
Good idea actually. It balances out the flaws of MM if anything.

Then everybody would have very long queues, as happened in SOD.

Depends on what people do. At that point you can either:
A) join random, wait a bit longer but be matched with other randoms
or
B) join a premade, have shorter Qs, be matched with other premades not ruining the game for randoms.
Either way it’s a win win imo

And how will differences between premade of 2/5, 3/5, 4/5 or 5/5…?

There is no reason to separate the premades of maximum 5 players from the rest of the players. To play without premades there are already the Blitz.

Not too hard to handle.
Make it so:
10 men bgs can be joined only alone.
15 men bgs can be joined by 5 men parties or 15 men raids, but Q them with other premades. (for example arathi basin, if you join with a 5 men party you will end up against another 5 men party and all the other people are randoms).
Sincronized multiple party joins into the Q should be forcibly split in different Qs.
Let premades join as raids for epic bgs against each other.

2/5, 3/5, 4/5 could slip between the cracks, but if you implement those points they will end up in a bg of randoms. So a 4 men party in a 15 men bg could impact a lot less.

(I don’t pretend to have a solution for everything, this is just an example on how you can manipulate the game in many ways)

That would be the biggest issue, how to set the limit on what would be classed as premade. The simpler option would have been to just add a solo queue option where players can go when they don’t want to face or be part of teams, they have come close with Blitz but the duo queue for healers is just another bizarre idea from Blizz.

I think is for encourage healers to play, but a healer with a single Dps doesn’t change the course of the Bg that much as a premade.

It’s a great idea. It disgusts me how little most players care about playing objectives even on 2.2 blitz mmr. I like to have a reliable teammate around.

Completely agree on this.
Playing with my gf heal/dps brawls and alone I would have lost so many more games since almost no1 understands the eots blitz or anticaps bases in arathi and deepwind etc.
People just zerg and never open the map or click through bge.
Thank god they let us que duo in blitz!

Well if it’s good for one then it should be good for the other, in other words they should allow everybody to queue as pairs or nobody. I’m sure all the dps would love to have a hand picked pal to help them deal with the healer.

I would be the last person to object to a rated bg mode you can queue up for either alone or with one friend. It would be just what I want.
