Having to wait another week to get above heroic gear is a hecking joke tbh.
Meanwhile, the pve heroes can roll through every single m0 twice for gear that’s what - 20 item levels higher? And lots of that gear has resilience btw.
Honor gear should be upped to m0 gear this week imo, then conquest gear can compete with the m+ stuff.

Everyone please don’t get off topic, this topic is about them nerfing the renown weekly level cap but they forgot to nerf the requirement to get ilvl 179 pvp gear, so we need to wait 3 weeks to get them while pve’rs will get raid gear soon and easily can outgear us in pvp, please reply as much as you can so we get the attention enough cause at long last we got pvp vendors again and i really don’t want a terrible pvp experience again like BFA, they must nerf the renown level requirements, both of them.

Who decides whats the main part of the game? you? i’m tired of being forced to do the same content over and over and over again to get PvE pieces to maybe have a chance in pvp, WoW always has been a PVP and PVE game every since classic until freakin Legion when they literally killed PVP
I’m not Ion but its still true that PVE is the main part of the game.
But then PvP gearing would be on par with PvE gearing.
It might offer competition for the World First Race, and in Ion’s World of Raidcraft we cannot have that.
Can you imagine a raider having to PvP for 1 hour for a piece of gear? Activision Blizzard would fall apart and never recover.
It wouldn’t even be on par, cause normal raid gear would still have higher ilvl than rank 5 pvp gear, i know that bgs shouldn’t give really good gear but at least it used to give decent gear in every expansion before legion, but now it’s far behind pve, and thats unpleasant.
I disagree, I think coordinating with a bunch of headless chickens and gaining a victory should be far more rewarding than five 3min Arena Matches, rated or otherwise.

But there was a very obvious change in game direction at that point. PvP died with MoP and the new formula around E-Sports was introduced.
I think that fogging sucks, but right now, PvP is balanced around 3k rating and for 3v3 fights ONLY.
Asmongold gets more views in a week, than a entire season of this garbage, but apparently that’s where the money is. Activision Blizzard loves money so…
Personally i don’t have any problem with clearing torghast, but i do have problem with them nerfing renown caps and not nerfing the renown level requirement for unraked pvp gear upgrades, which leaves us far behind.
