Queen's Conservatory Catalysts Invalid Targets

Hello,

So on Thursday, 17th of December i upgraded my Queen’s conservatory to rank 2 which opens the catalyst plots. Planting wildseeds works normally, however everytime i try to plant any catalyst seed on any catalyst plot it gives me “invalid target” error message. I have tried with each catalyst on all their plots and always get “invalid target”. I’ve made my friends stream their steps and with them it does work fine, but when i try it on my account it doesn’t work.
I’ve also tried accepting/abandoning and re-accepting the “Seed of a thought” quest several times to try acquiring different catalyst seends. it always gives the first step complete as i purchase a catalyst and then goes to the step to plant it and as before it gives me “invalid target” message.

I’ve tried everything i can think of and that i’ve been suggested by Game masters or friends.

As you can see i’ve been having this issue for some time, i do have my suspicion on that may have caused this feature to bug out (3rd image has an explanation) , however i believe i’ve tried everything on my end to see if it could be resolved.

Please i know it’s Christmas and perhaps your patience for solving problems may not be at a high level and i do appreciate your effort, but i would like to also have a chance at having fun with the garden on my holidays too.

If you don’t see a visible fix please reset my conservatory to rank 1 and i’ll upgrade it again to rank 2 if it has at least a chance of bypassing this issue, play iwth my account if you have to test it yourselves.

I would appreciate some feedback on it even if it’s just saying “working on it” as it has been a week already without this feature and it’s quite frustrating to me not knowing if it can be solved or if i will never be able to use the garden…

This is the CS forums and not the bug report forum the GM mentions, it being on the US forums as clearly the first automated response linked.

The ingame bug report button will also direct this to the appropriate team.

In-Game Bug Report

Bug reports can also be filed in-game in World of Warcraft®. Reports submitted in this fashion will not receive a response. Instead, they’ll be directed to the teams responsible for addressing them.

To report a bug in-game:

In Shadowlands

  1. Press Esc or click the ? button to open the menu.
  2. Click Support.
  3. Click Submit feedback or bug report.
  4. Enter the details of the bug into the Submit a bug description box, making sure to follow the guidelines outlined on the submission form.
  5. Click Submit.

bug report in game has characters limit it could never have all the information needed.

Kinda sad it has to go US forums to do this but i will do so however my expectations of ever getting this fixed are starting to be 0 which is really disappointed as i paid to play with the covenants and seems the one i picked i can’t play with it normally.

You could make a short summary then link your current thread or ticket for more info.

The bug report forums on the US side does almost never get a response though, all options will lead to the same team.

Opening a bug report with a link here might be the best option then, thanks for the advice.

Is there any way i can get any feedback from the team that they may or not be able to solve this issue? Should i wait for how long to try to bring the case back up?

The submit a bug has no feedback ever so i can end up with a “broken” garden for months or never be fixed…

Unfortunately not, as you can see from the US side’s bug report forum there’s almost never any feedback.

In general sometimes there will be information with Blizzard forum posts. When a (hot)fix is deployed it will be announced through the usual channels in the patchnotes and that’s all players really have.
