The comments and the online reports about that at the time quickly pointed it out as “High Elven are basicly playable in alliance” now.
Beside that you can keep your “We dont belong on the same Race” comment this character is a void elf even if i sometimes look like a high elf. Storywise he is a Void Elf and that is very much my decision there 
Addendum: I read trough only a few comments but it is interesting to see there was some negativity about Blood Elven getting the blue eyes. This has nothing to do with rest was just interesting.
