World quests are many and some are tied to story moments, some are not. I’m not sure if anyone has ever made a list before of the spoilery ones. The way world quests are given tho via Talking Head, with quicker “quest text”, doesn’t really spoil the story per-say, as in you won’t know a world quest was a spoiler until you do the campaign and see it there. The character giving you the world quest might be a spoiler in some places, as it might be an NPC you haven’t interacted with yet in the campaign, so that might be confusing a bit if having lore for what you are doing, matters to you.
If you care about doing the story linear and not getting any potential spoilers from world quests, then don’t enable world quests yet, do the Broken Isles campaign first and then finish that quest to unlock world quests. But be warned as you might be slowed down in IP-gain as world quests can be a source of IP.
But if you still want to experience the rest of Legion lore, in Lemix, without distractions or potential spoilers, world quests could definitely impact that. Since world quests can also be distracting if you want to focus on the campaign because they keep pop-ing up if you get into their area, having that kind of focus is important to some, ergo the warning.
You should also know, that Lemix is already technically non-linear since it didn’t start with the opening Broken Shore scenario, fallowed by teleportation of Dalaran. Lemix starts right after the teleportation, as the “alternate-timeline” jump-in, with quest options to do the scenario after. And since you mentioned the order hall, there are already moments where the story “skips-ahead”, which you might have seen, if you are at Uniting the Isles already, those skips are also a Lemix thing, so you’re already not experienceing Legion lore as faithfully as it originally was.
Lemix is meant to be more fast paced than the original, it’s an event for collectiong and achievements, and for some making characters a op as possible via the 999% vers thing. If you want the more faithfull story I recommend doing Legion campaing in Chromie-time and stop your xp gains at lvl 45 so you can finish the story without being plucked out at lvl 71.
