By popular demand, and given the topic is indeed an “evergreen” on this forum: please post all your questions regarding hardware upgrades/purchases, configuration of new computers, and whether or not your trusty current rig will handle a game here.
This thread will not be actively supported by the forum team (we’ll obviously make sure everyone minds their manners…), but it’ll hopefully serve as a way for folks to more easily share their knowledge and experiences. It’ll also allow to keep said knowledge more easily accessible, as the smaller, individual threads to tend to drop out of visibility quickly - which is honestly quite a shame, given how many good replies are given by our resident hardware experts in the community (you know who you are, and we love you).
