Raider io is just a reflection of a person’s experience in mythic plus. If someone applies to my group I can see the highest key they’ve done, the highest key they’ve done in the key they are applying to, their overall score, how many dungeons they’ve completed in each bracket etc etc.

The rudeness is uncalled for. 8.3 is tuned towards corruption. An ilvl will not give you any indication if that player has any corruption or even the right corruptions for their class, it will also not show if they have the right essences. So you didn’t look at any of the information the addon gave you about how many runs they had done or any of the other indicators that are actually given by the addon. In your world of everyone bought their score the guy with low rio could have bought his previous +15 just as much. There is no logic to this obsession with scores being bought.

They had exactly the same effects then as they do now. That if you are attempting to do a key on time or push it that you want capable people. It is always a risk taking on strangers in pugs but you can reduce the risks when you can see what experience they have. Anyone can push their score if they want to. You do not have to be a ‘no-lifer’. There is no requirement to buy boosts. You can push your own keys with any group of people you see fit, you can do them with friends, guildies, commu…

On the contrary, Rio can tell you all that, unlike the armory. You can see how many runs they’ve completed in various timed brackets. The best run they’ve done for the dungeon they are applying to. You do not have the right to force your way into any group you see fit. You can apply to groups and they will decide out of the applicants they get, who they deem most suitable, most likely to help them complete the key on time or push it. Some groups will not care about the timer and just want to get a weekly done. The leader absolutely has the right to decline you for lack of ilvl, lack of experience, not being the class they are looking for, not being the right armour type etc etc. You of…

Some will always blame the wrong thing. If you have a complete lack of experience in Mythic plus a leader is not going to pick you over someone who has better experience. This is the same across the board in all PuG content. It is not the fault of the addon. Anyone can build a score if they want to, if they don’t to then that is their choice. Sadly the people who have an agenda against rio and blame their lack of getting into keygroups for it will never listen to any reason or take in any explanations given.
