I dont have problem if somebody pre made but balance is off charts. Either one team dominate or other and i dont like it anyway, i like close and clutch games. But as far as i see either one team is much better in dps or have better healers. Can we somehow balance that or can we somehow nerf healers in random BG , 1 good healer can carry whole group, and you need like 3 dps to attack one healer to kill him with lot of time. PVP getting worst and worst and keep getting destroyed.
PS for example since yestarday i try to win Arathi basin brawl and i lose all of them, like 10 in row, maybe just 2 was close games.
The biggest problem with random BGs is the amount of absolute potatoes that queue with levelling gear on.
Iâve left 5+ Bgs in the starting room today since I get 3+ people with <5m hp against full geared teams.
Like, these people unironically deserve to be banned for griefing. There is ZERO reason for people to be queueing with zero gear on. Blizzard need to put a minimum PvP ilvl on for queuing into BGs, or scale ilvl up to a minimum regardless of gear. Itâs not fun being on the receiving end or benefiting from pure griefers.
No oneâs griefing simply by showing up to a Random BG & being sub-par.
Itâs not really their fault anyway, this is the system Blizz have designed & bestowed upon us.
Iâd argue games are better when everyone is at the same hp & weâre just playing on skill (or lack of).
But many argue that gear disparity is a good thing, that players should feel themselves getting stronger (a core aspect of mmorpgs, they tell me) -you donât feel progression if you enter a BG with max gear.
It doesnât take long to gear up anyway (fair compromise between insane gear disparity & standardised gear). So Iâd invite you to have a little patience & try not to rage quit everytime some noob wants to try a BG.
u r 610 IL ? bracket is 600-615
u r 620 IL ? bracket is 616-630
or maybe a little wider at first to not rly destroy q times, eventually q times can go back up once pvp is A LITTLE healthierâŚ
the more season we go into an expansion the more fully geared and freshly dinged are apart in terms of IL gap and put that in 20man groups means sometimes the gap between avg il of each player is so massive that u either instantly stomps or instantly get stomped⌠(happens alot when healers are the one gapped)
Premade is just one problem. There are no requirements for random BG. People with gray items can join there. The second issue is experience balance. You can see it in the honor level. Itâs not very pleasant when people in your team are level 20 and in the other a few people with over 1000.
I would like to be able to play BG Blitz without a rating like it was in DF.
Agreed. put an average of ilvl to get into any queues (pve or pvp) is just a basic to get a certain stability in a team.
Clearly, you get into a bg with ppl with 6k hp overall with priest buff⌠If you have two or three like this, you get a handicap to win something.
On the other hand, when you get into a HM or LFR queue, you know this guy have a âdecentâ ilvl to be here so itâs normal.
This game is so much fun to play and the gear isnt a problem anymore. Since the start of TWW you just have to bend down to get some stuffs. Thereâs stuff everywhere for everyone.
In PVE, you can have a HM stuff even if you dont go to raid and in PVP, you cant get a bloody coins gear just by doing some WQs.
Opinions are often subjective. In different gaming styles, from casual to hardcore, we all pay for the access to play as desired, within the rules. A hardcore gaming style more often becomes problematic outside of pro gaming. I understand your perspective, but itâs random BG and not rated.
Or you know ⌠instead of making the queues even longer , just close the item level gap ?
Like Conquest gear from previous season is = to honor gear of current season .
Not like right now where conquest gear from previous season is = to no gear this season âŚ
Also PvE gear should always be scaled up to at least honor gear , or just bellow it (5 item levels or smth) . Not like right now 35 item levels lower .
These item level jumps every freaking season are UNHEALTHY for the entire game . We all know people grind even for minor 1% increase to damage . Why do we need to boost damage and health pools by 50 % each season ?!
What I mean about PvE gear is that it currently scales in BG to 630 item level if bellow that , whereas honor gear is 665
In previous seasons (DF for instance , if I remember correctly) it scaled close to honor gear , maybe 5 item levels lower than it .
The step from PvE to PvP was not so huge .
Current PvE gear should scale to about 655 , or 660 if bellow that , so that people donât enter random BG to gain honor gear and be completely useless .
They are already hugely disadvantaged by the PvE stats , lack of versatility and PvP trinkets . There is absolutely no reason for them to be disadvantaged by 35 item levels also .
Or at the very least it should be upgradable to max level . Especially the crafted gear , which is hard capped at 636 now ⌠I always hated carrying 2 sets of gear just to play the game .
Let me put PvP item level on any PvE piece like the Varnish and Lacquer do and let me increase PvE Item level to any PvP piece I want . We already have separate currencies for PvE and PvP anyways , so the argument that this will ruin PvE progression is void âŚ
If the special effects on PvE gear are such a big problem , just disable them in rated PvP for all I care .
