Raszageth (Lets talk about it)

If she was laughing a bit more and had a more nosey voice, she would be Dragon Skeletor

She’s the final boss of the 1st raid, it’s like thinking the mantid empress would be the final boss of MoP.

Honestly, I like Raszageth. She isn’t particularly complex villain, but she chews scenery to the point where it’s just fun to watch her do her thing. She’s a genocidal jerk and she knows and enjoys it, and that’s what makes her fun.

And frankly, if you don’t expect something on the level of popcorn flick from WoW, I don’t know what to tell you, because WoW, the game specifically, has never had particularly well done writing. Even the well beloved Wrath, the whole thing was just Lich King showing up at the end of each zone being like “I will get you next time!” (spoilers - he doesn’t get you next time), and practically everything that gives Arthas any depth comes from outside of WoW, while WoW only vaguely gestures towards it.

Yes, I expected more, because WoW can deliver better stuff than this.
WoD had much better stories. Especially the frostfire ridge questline, with that cinematic at the end, but the whole expansion was much better with it’s more grounded, well written, shorter stories.
Legion also had great moments, like the cinematic with Ilidan and that naaru, or even the short exchange of words between Velen and KJ.

But ofc, I don’t want to write down DF like the whole expansion is bad, or it’s gonna be bad from a storytelling perspective. We’ll see. But for now, the best, most memorable and mature storytelling piece was that single quest with that dwarf (dragon), where I had to sit down with him, and listen to him telling stories.

honestly if your playing a race like space goat he just come as rather wierdo if your one of the OG space goats your 25000 years old you was probley an adult while this dragon was a whelp or didn’t even exist yet

his like oh im so old this place has changed so much while my space goat looks at him in disbelief you saw argus fall you saw your trusted leaders betray you and everyone else for power you see brother betray sister you saw the ruins of your home in legion and this guy is like i knew this black dragon once …

i felt more sympanthy for a dying KJ then him imagine you sellout everyone for power for this grand crusade only to relize in the end you choose poorly

Tbh half of them lore wise can be written up to we won through aid of un-natural help (borrowed power systems).

So they can retcon it back to smaller threats, as our characters didnt win by raw strength, we won by utilising items of excessive power really.

The artifact weapons + crucible and legendaries in Legion.

Azerite armour, the heart of azeorth, weaponizing nzoth corruption against himself in BFA.

Soulbinds, covenants, Legendaries and conduits in SL.

These are greatly increased our characters power, and easily lore wise could be used to explain how we took on larger foes.

Im hoping the fact that we have lost all that now, puts blizz in a good place lore wise to reduce the grand threats we are taking on.

until we win a fight with 0 gear we are always using borrowed power :stuck_out_tongue:

But… butt… they were clutchlings… :frowning:

But yeh, I noticed that as well.

Maybe she eats some Taurens and gets bigger.

Oh! Add to dat the da ominous but never elaborated upon past event de jailerbird keeps mentioning happened between her and alex da anime dragon waifu to us but nevah elaborates upon. Gurl if ya got da tea then spill it!

Its not complaining its feedback… Dont be a degenerate.

It’s literally the end boss of the first raid lol

So its body 2?

Story is quite important for my enjoyement. You can say what ever about BFA, but that exp had some good story telling. Old Gods coming! Thrall and Saurfang! That lightning dude! Jainas story…and now…we have this proto-drake that is angry >:{ First time in 17 years I have actually skipped all the cut scenes after couldnt care to watch them to the end.

This is exactly what they wanted. They wanted to take a step back from all these Uber grand threats and to be something more vanilla like . I like it

We beat them always with some specific aid. For example, the demon soul, or the heart of Azeroth…
