Realm transfer time

hello, I have done a realm / faction change, how long does this take? the email says the following…

"What’s Next?

You can access your World of Warcraft® Paid Character Transfer + Paid Faction Change the next time you log in to World of Warcraft."

i have logged in and it says processing 1 min remaining but has said this for 15 mins so far.

any ideas how long it usually takes?
