I’m reposting this because my first post didn’t get a response and I can’t bump posts anymore. I really need help, even Blizzard GM’s don’t have a sollution for me they said.
Ever since 8.1 the whisper tab for bnet friends won’t show anything.
Let me explain.
Whenever someone from bnet talks to me when I am in-game, I right click their name and select “Move to whisper window”. After this happens the tab shows absolutely nothing. It doesn’t show what I type and it doesn’t show what my friend types. Our chat continues in the “general” tab.
I’ve looked at the chat settings ingame, tried making a new tab specifically for bnet friends. None of it seems to work. I’ve shot in a ticket and a GM advised me to delete the cache, interface and WTF folder. I’ve done this and it didn’t fix the problem. The GM couldn’t help me further and recommended I try me luck here.
Does anyone know a potential fix? Your help is much appreciated!
(Yes I’ve tried reinstalling)
