Only thing I wanna say is that as an Alliance toons it was a bit hard to recognize people in the sea of orange nameplates, so sorry if I missed anyone during that day especially as I can sometimes be slow on the uptake, just the sheer amount of people kinda overwhelmed me.

Iâm glad there was such a good turnout for it. 
I actually think that might be the better solution. Trolls will always gravitate towards this because it provides amusement in their warped wayâŠbetter itâs locked with the stories, screenshots, and messages of those whoâve marked Briganteâs life than being a constant reminder of loss as folk tarnish his memory out of their own boredom.
Yes, it might mean the trolls have won but sometimes itâs better to think youâve won than to know (that was meant to sound deep and profoundâŠturns out itâs just utter nonsense! 
).

nah, i disagree. people are still paying respects to him so those who couldnt make it can still say their piece here, i wouldnt want to take that away from people.
to be honest, the trolling has been really minimal (if people hadnt fed into it), i dont see the point in closing a thread just because some people (not the trolls) cant control themselves and just have to argue or feed the trolls.
thats the last thing i ll say on that. dont think this is the time and place to talk about it tbh, doesnt make us any better than the trolls who derail the thread.

The unpleasant people do too, but they tend to slip away with little fanfare (unless theyâre really high profile).
It is a tribute to a personâs character when many others notice when they go

Just a suggestion, make a discord server or use an existing server for the same purpose that this thread serves. You can leave an invite to the discord in this thread and stop posting here. Trolls can keep posting here if they want but wonât get anything out of it, and if they try to troll in your discord, you an easily ban them and delete their messages without further interacting with them.
A little bonus is that the messages and photos shared in the discord wonât go anywhere while this thread will eventually fade away.
Or we can just carry on ignoring the trolls and not let them derail

Had i been given a notification about the funural iâd showed up too as even though me and him wernât exactly bros he was one of the nicest people on the forums that iâve ever met. He even helped me though some of my bad phases.

Sadly it seems to be a secondary account, probably a starter edition, so banning it wouldnât do much. And while the rules are very vague, I donât think heâs technically breaking them.

Best thing to do with someone like that is pretend they donât exist and donât react to it. Which is what they want, Ironicly Iâm doing what I said not to in this post. Starting from now I wonât. Just hope he has no family members that see it and use the forums.
