How are ret in pvp without avenging wrath up?
CAn they still compete or do they suck until they get wings back up again?
Generally when healing I can almost ignore them - although I do keep them at a safe distance for fear I get HoJ and wings pop.
I don’t know what dps feel against them but when healing myself and team they are really not a threat until it’s
a) to late as wings have gone up and they have killed 2 people.
Or b) they pop wings 20 yards away without cavalier and just hex/slow/root.
It’s all or nothing IMO.

You have a burst window every 1 minute with Seraphim (45s CD) -> Wake of Ashes (45s) -> Final Verdict -> Divine Toll (1 min) (Pelagos mastery buff) -> Final Reckoning (1 min), where you can chunk people out with help of other DPS.
Wings (2 mins) are a significant part of it for the 20% crit, but it’s only one of multiple moving parts.
Ret sucks without wings…
