The season 2 tier set bonus is laughably weak. You threw at us some nerfs and rebuilt some stuff around crits so the season 2 stat scaling is awful. season 2 2 set pieces barely gives 3k dps increase and that mainly comes from the item lvl increase of the 2 set pieces and not the set bonus itself because it is kinda on the same level as season 2… the 4 set bonus gives around 7k dps increase …what a joke. Look at how shadowpriests and other with the same set and item lvl double the damage of a ret on multitarget and has ~30% on single target. If you guys trying to kill paladins/retri paladin just remove the spec.
You advertised this expansion with the claim you will pay attention to feedback yet you ignored pretty much all of it during beta for all 3 specs of the paladin class. Then you made a retri rework and over a month you pretty much nerfed it back almost to the medicore level where it was. And with this terrible scaling it will be right in the middle again. Prot paladin shines in M+ ofc but you sneaked in with the retri rework 2 scaling nerf to compensate for the sanctified plates talent that you forced down the throat of prot paladin when in fact you put that talent there to improve retri survivability …that you nerfed after that over a month. And on the season start you sneaked in another scaling nerf for prot paladin so 50% hp went to 30% and 30% armor when to 10%. As soon as you touch the sanctified plates talent for whatever reason there will be huge issues for prot paladin. But even if prot paladin are S tier rn for M+ the spec is boring as hell… You baked everything into 2 spells and HP if pretty much pointless at this point when the rest of the stuff is baked into those 2 spells even more with talents.
Retri paladin secondary stat scaling is a joke rn …there is almost nothing to replace Manic grieftorch …except for like 2 viable trinket from higher raid tiers which is a game of chance ofc… The onyx annulet is also way stronger than a 437-441 ring… so we are stuck with old crap and we barely get any dps increase from switching to season 2 tier set… sure the hp goes up but the dps falls behind waaaay too much compared to what other classes get. I highly doubt that the devs care about paladins at all or that they even ever played with this class. Get into a m+ 18-20 and show me how you perform against a shadowpriest or boomkin or hunter …or insert whatever 5 random dps specs you want. Most of them will outperform ret by a huge margain. Fix this cr*p please. You are bleeding subs left and right from an already shrinked player base and this is what you come up with after beta testing? This is what you thought would be good and balanced?! What a joke! And to think of that ppl are getting paid for these “development” is the biggest joke of all. They don’t care or they are simply incompetent. But hey we know there is no paladin class dev for a decade now so …they just don’t care.

Most of what you are saying is bs. The top ranked ret is higher than the top ranked boomkin and hunter atm. There is one shadow in the world that has a higher score but hes part of the best pushing group in the world.
And learn to paragraph, if you play ret like you write rants no wonder you get out dps’d by everything you meet.
The increase from 4sets is different for every specc. This would be a problem if it was the only point of balancing ofcourse, but it isnt.
Ret is incredibly strong and overall you see many rets doing great numbers, it can be considered a boon to be strong without a 4set as it means u perform well pre 4 set and also means at rhe end of the season its not damning to lose it.
While other classes could feel a much higher impact from loss of it.
Sure, it doesnt feel awesome to equip ur 4 set and not see a massive performance boost, but tbh ret isnt in a bad place.
Ret tier set in this season is worst than last season, its a joke. And dont look at top loggs its easy to get theese numbers if your guild/raid feeds you loggs. Been there done that. All it takes is Few people dying for you to get wings in certain timeframes, raid letting you pad adds solo etc.
