I don’t think it was terrible personally, and I don’t have an issue with bringing it back for a mid patch content, my issue is once again they’re timegateing something, and once again we got borrowed power that no one wants or asked for!
By all means bring it back and add cosmetic items, mounts etc for people, that’s fine, but by adding more borrowed power and more timegateing it’s bound to leave a sour taste in people’s mouths.
I guessed reason Blizz try make us more playing when things more with timegating?
Blizz worried if all things in single patch already. Later players done all and again quit subscriptions?
I’m not excited by the timegating either, least they could let me do is blast through this horrible content and be done with it.
I usually am glad with any content released but this is just disgusting abusement at this point . You delay re-released Content announced for 11.1.5 , a month later of the patchday, just to timegate our freedom of actually progress on it to the end if we want? That has nothing anymore to do with keeping the subscription forced , that’s just harasment of your playerbase i swear on Muradin’s beard.
People who would had play for a month will still only play for a month and the ones that actually are staying subscribed would still stay subscribed but you might end up provokating it into the wrong direction instead with that nonsense stunt.

It seemed kinda cool on paper, minus the Sanity drain/timer. And some of the rewards look nice. I don’t really PvE much, wonder how challenging it will be.
Sanity bar is what i called timer, because it is essentially a timer. It’s ticking off and if you take avoidable dmg it drops even more.
Depends how many masks you wear. Five mask was not a joke. Like proper high tempo everything pre planned run.
If you haven’t played it back then, you might find it enjoyable.
edit: just remembered, we had a cape which was up-gradable and was providing resistance. Not sure how it will work this time around.

I quite enjoyed horrific visions back in BFA, was a nice solo challenge for me. Depends on who you ask. Some liked them, others hated them.
Not fun having a wank and be forced to stop midway cos, u know… otherwise you would have more fun than intended.

You get an hourglass with talent like upgrades (something like Torghast box) according to wowhead. The hourglass lowers sanity drain among other things.
