No it’s not a smart use of in game mechanics it’s an exploit.

Get herbalism and you can do 50g+/hour in mara without killing a single mob
Consecration for instant used to be a nice AoE ability that you could drop in raid as a Holy Paladin to help out on AoE packs, but in Classic it’s botched. I don’t know what happened, if it’s just bad coding or what, but the issue have been reported to Blizzard numerous times since release and doesn’t get a fix.
Essencially what happens in Classic which is different from real vanilla is that Consecration puts an ‘‘invisible’’ debuff slot on the targets affected by it, so if the debuff slot is full it will knock off other debuffs in exchange for this ‘‘invisible’’ debuff, which isn’t supposed to happen.

Made the smart choice by joinin in the mage bandwagon and leveling one. Gotta make me some sweet internet monies. in few weeks maybe
I’m probably in the minority but I still enjoy farming different things on my paladin than 1 thing over and over again on my Mage. Not earning the big bucks, but I don’t get bored at least.

What prevents you from farming different things on a mage?
I suck at farming most of the current mage boosting meta. I only ever got down to AOE-ing ZF graveyard and doing that over and over again is mind numbing.

Only mages are a allowed to farm.
Normally i’m a stickler for no changes, but I would like to see some consistency.

Yup. I’m sure Blizzard didn’t intend Warriors to do lololol damage compared to every other class and make up 80% of your DPS spots, but you bet they won’t be fixing that despite how there was no chance that was intended.
The game’s meant to be a time-capsule, not an attempt to rewind time.
I wonder if we passed that mark already where community could try to demand balance changes for classes and racials. Like for instance IF TBC comes out, that they would balance the racials for pvp and make less difference between horde and ally paladins for instance by giving both seal of martyr and blood. Giving balance changes to rogues, mages and dps warriors in tbc etc. That sorta thing
Because frost mages soloíng entire level 50 and 60 dungeons spamming down 300 mobs and now even ZG by using retarded pathing issue is not…
If we’re gonna ‘fix’ exploits at least we shouldn’t have double standards about it, clearly that wasn’t ‘intended’ either but it’s still there.

It’s fun when ppl throw around numbers like these as if AH prices were the same everywhere.
You know what’s an exploit? Diamond flask 100% spellpower scaling is an exploit. Will it be fixed? No, there’s a blue post about it “being part of the game”.
Landslide farm was much less exploitative than mage ZG onepull or warrior diamond flask shenanigans. But it was still fixed because reasons.
Yeah, you can still farm ele earth in mara. about 3-5 ele earth per hour. Such farm, much profit.
