In May of 2005, Gnome Rogue Ming started a thread on the NA Rogue Forums where he was devising an Agility comparison system for comparing gear using the formula 10 Agility = 10 Stamina = 20 Strength = 20 Attack Power = 1% Crit. One of the first people who responded to the thread (name lost in history) coined the phrase “Agility Equivalence Points” and his formula has been known as AEP ever since.

I decided to start this thread after Eye Of Rend dropped in UBRS yesterday.
Having had Ghostshroud equipped, I decided as a Human Swords Rogue not to roll on Eye Of Rend.
Reasoning below:
Ghostshroud=[(19X15%)+19]*2+[(12X15%)+12] = 43.7+13,8 = 57,5 MAEP
Eye Of Rend= [(13X15%)+13] + 40 = 54,95 MAEP
Pls Note: 15% Modifier = GBOK (Alliance Only)

Truestrike Shoulders= 24+X
From Spreadsheet we get: Truestrike Shoulders=Defiler’s Lizardhide Shoulders=12*2+30= 54 MAEP
24+X=54=>X=54-24=30
