They also seem to do well on these two then they sink down slowly for the rest.
Classes are always going to vary what they are stronger/weaker for.

Yeah which might mean there will be more room for us next tier. That gives some hope for the future. But 9.1 is still far away and anything could still change.
Oh nice, I havenât really analyzed the logs since 9.0.5. I guess it is time to reroll assassination and replace half of my 226 gear so I can deal some damage seeing as the stat priority is completely different
Actually its haste > vers where outlaw is vers > haste. So its not that bad
I play sub rogue
Weâre only looking at 9.0.5 logs here where our covenants and legendaries got a massive boost. If you go back the entire tier you see that while rogues are doing better than most melees purely numerically⌠its not enough to wager a Rogue over a DK/WW or a Warrior.
F
Cloak of shadows saves healers gcds and can work around most boss mechanics , clear traps at xi-mos and so on .
To much bad drugs ?
Rogues single target is high , wth are ppl are on about ? most of his single comes from melee on assa and outlaw u need 226 weapons .
DKâs can do that with less than half the cooldown⌠and they have 2 cooldowns that can do it. Not only that, they have an ability that completely trivializes the annihilation mechanic. So then why not bring 2 extra DKâs and no rogue if they can do equal damage anyways?
Raid leaders just lack incentive to bring us to a raid. Thats it.
Maybe read the thread before you post.
And its not like this is an incircumventable problem either. Warriors and Windwalkers had more spots because they bring something else to a raid. Rogues were just sidelined because they really donât bring anything but damage for CN. If melee mobility was more prominent we wouldâve had a more solid place in the meta but the way it was now⌠we were kind of absent.
Itâs a pain trying to play multiple specs this expansion or content in some cases. Do rogues have varying covenants? I could check but quicker to ask xd. And ofc the gear aspect.
Not in 9.0 but we do now.
Venthyr is BiS for Raiding and probably tie with NF for PvP.
Necro is BiS for M+ and big cleave.
Outlaw and Assa have similar stat priority but obviously different weapons.
Sub rogue just have a different stat priority from both.
Fortunately, Covenants donât make a huge difference for rogues.
However, yes.
For all speccs I think.
NF is best for M+ for sub as far as I know, which is why I play NF since I am more focused on M+ after my guild died.
Well yes until
happens
Well yeah, but it depends on specc, length of the fight and type of fight. E.g. Korayn is very good for a fight such as Sun King with new waves of mobs all the time⌠Then again, if a player does play NF I doubt that most cba going and changing their soulbind from Niya to Korayn just for one fight (unless they are progressing).
For Sub rogues I believe that NF Korayn will continue to be BiS in M+. If you are referring to a 2 target or 3 target cleave I would also assume that Necro is BiS. Fortunately all fights arenât cleave fights, making more or less all covenants relevant where every covenant may be slightly better than the other in a specific fight.

Eh idk dude but that doesnât look that great to me
Our raid has like 3 rogues in it. Our comp is very janky but we roll with it cuz itâs all about having fun innit
Yeah I thought you might link outlaw rogue covenant performance on Sun King. I think that the main reason for why you see Necrolord is not because Korayn is a bad choice, but because most top outlaw rogues have gone necrolord. However, with sub rogue where NF is still a popular pick among top players you can see how this is true.
And it would be great if more people had that mentality but the truth of the matter is that a lot of people look at this game with a set of goals and see other people as an obstacle rather than a boon.
I myself am looking to play just about out of hall of fame but on a somewhat casual schedule. And the reign there is just that the meta still pretty much defines it. As such Iâm having a hard time actually finding a guild that I think would suit me.
Outlaw ainât climbing nowhere, hunters are falling down with the latest hotfix reducing their ST by 5-6% or w/e as well as a 10-20% hit on AoE. Assa is currently on the rise with the new Venthyr covenant ability and the buffed legendary, 2nd best ST according to hungering sims.
And yeah obviously most people can run w/e and get away with it to an extent, nobody here is even close to being a part of the worlds first race. As for next tier, nobody knows for certain currently. But it is kind of funny how fire mage got a buff and boomkin has gotten off without any nerfs bar the small one on their lego at the start of expac for this long even.
