Since midnight pre-patch, my character has only been getting wrist and head items from all loot sources. It’s all that’s been in the vault across all slots, and it’s all that’s being generated from reward chests. If I get loot from a dungeon and wrist or helmet are on the loot table, then that is what I get - otherwise it becomes a weapon.
Anyone experiencing something similar?

That does not seem to be the same issue, and the hotfix looks like it specifically only targeted those DF cloaks.
Could be, but I hope it’s actually targeting all the repeated loot issues we’re seeing sigh
Tbh just Blizzard being Blizzard. Had this happen couple of times last expansions where loot is like purely one slot every time and you have like a whole collection of boots you don’t need…

What’s really odd is that I have been getting a tiny bit of variation this week. Hidden trove was a staff and vault has been 3 x staff for two weeks now (I only do delves), so I have gotten around 20 staves and 4 other items of loot for that character and a couple of warbound items (go cloth gloves with avoidance today).
So the odds are really skewed towards staves in my case, but not 100%, especially this week. I hope the devs have the time to figure this out soon. It seems to be affecting quite a lot of players.

Even if this week was yet another vault full of wrists and helmets, it’s good to know it’s a known issue at least. ^^
Having the same kinda problem with my DK. Just today I opened my vault. I had it stacked with several weeks, and from among about 10 items that I saw among them…
Most were shoulders and helmets. There was only one neck among them! You’re definitely not the only one with this issue.
EDIT: I will add that all of my other characters are fine. Only my death knight seems to be affected.
i have been having the same issue. i came back to wow 2 weeks ago and picked up my warlock. every delve i have completed have been giving me the same belt in either rare or epic. the great vault both weeks was 5/6 slots belts and 1 head slot item. so it seems it always tries to award me belts and whenever theres no more options it gives a head item. there is a big thread on the us forum about this issue aswell. https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/delves-loot-appears-“stuck”-on-a-single-slot/2238113

Can we get some kind of response on this? I’d like to know if it’s even going to be worthwhile to “Unleash Your Skills in Midnight’s New Delves” if I’m only going to get the same item slot over and over again…
My delve champion loot seems to be kind of OK now. I even got a pretty decent trinket (which of course I could have bought with undercoins from the vendor). I then decided to try the Delver’s Bounty hidden trove and even opened my vault from last week. 4 staves. As could have been expected in my case.
Any news Blizzard? My rogue has looted at least 7 heads and 5 legs, plus the ones I sold before I realised there was an issue. No neck, shoulder, back, chest wrist, gloves, belt, boots, rings, or trinkets. But 12+ head and legs. WHAT IS GOING ON???!! GIVE US AN UPDATE PLEASE!

I have the same issue. Only been looting helmets for multiple weeks both in delve and great vault. Same issue with other characters as well. It seems to be a problem for many people, but it has been weeks and not fixed. Seems like what is most frustrating for most is that it seems like no one is working on this issue, and that you get AI-generated responses from tickets. From the last post, it seems like this is a known issue, but it looks like it will take a long time to fix?

Some friendly advice. If this bug also affects Midnight content you should really prioritize fixing this to save yourself a potential ****storm. It’s not the biggest issue currently as gear is not so important. But if this bug persist until midnight season 1 where it does matter. Well, oh boy…
I also suspect that the issue isn’t currently being noticed by a lot of players even if they are affected by it. It takes a while to notice you that get the same slot again and again and many probably aren’t running delves currently. I spammed delves a couple of weeks ago and didn’t notice it until the issue appeared obvious in the vault on many alts the week after.

They are trying to hide it under the rug since Midnight releases but yeah, huge issue if it affects new content also.

Fingers crossed for delve progress locking out between weeks 2-5 again, for the fourth season in row and hearing they’re not aware of any bugs but how they also can’t comment on the design of the game either. Players stuck in a limbo of not wanting to spend any Keys on purpose because it would cost them a massive amount of seasonal progress.
We can assume Silvermoon is a copy paste of the same gameplay principles we see in Donornogal, so naturally everyone is dreading the same unaddressed problems to carry over.
In case of delves, someone will say it is intentional timegating, but I have to ask why has the reward structure and speed of progress not been adjusted accordingly? Because it’s been copy pasted. Icons and text replaced but all the fundamental problems remain.
Players would be a lot louder voicing their concerns were it not such an insignificant period of time for the game with many bugs not really mattering or impacting them very little, but it is also not strange to see some users correctly predict the upcoming fiasco.
Three weeks now of only getting bracers from chests and the vault. I don’t know if this has already been mentioned, but it seems like the bug is affecting not only delve chests, but also the ones you get from weekly quests.
If this bug doesn’t get addressed, I basically have to choose whether I want to abandon my main or just not play the new expansion at all. This is the first time I’ve encountered such a game-breaking bug in WoW, and not having it fixed, or at least properly addressed, for weeks is infuriating. It almost makes me want to demand a refund on principle.
Having the same issue:
For the last 4 weeks, I have the same loot in my weekly Vault. It’s a waist in every vault-slot.
I ltook an Item from the vault every week, so it is not the situation were it’s unclaimed loot.
Hope this gets fixed before the next season starts….
