He actually answered me once - his reply sadly showing that he did not know much about Classic at all. And really did not care.

It doesn’t help that the people of this mindset no doubt played on either Hydraxian Waterlords or Zandalar Tribe and have now scattered across many different servers thanks to the free transfers. There is, to my knowledge, no “unofficial RP server”.
The only thing we can do is hedge our bets on Hydraxian Waterlords and hope the RP-tag is enough to attract people back to the server. And in doing so many of us have to give up (or alter) our in-game identities since many names are tagged. All because Blizzard made the extremely short-term decision of allowing free transfers off of servers that weren’t dead.
The mega-servers are their headache now. I doubt they’re happy about the situation but you reap what you sow.

What if transfers to Hydraxian from any/all other servers were open for some time after the merge? I think that would be really good, actually. People would probably feel more inclined to move after the merges have already happened. Compare that to right now, when they know that the server has an uncertain future.

Why ruin chances like this blizzard?
RP-PVP can work brilliantly, and a great community you’ve took it all away or any chance of it.
Not sure about anyone else, but big reason for playing classic for me was community none of this cross-realm or toxic rubbish, things like this.
And you’ve ruined it rather us all play on mega realms…
