and again the blood elves will not leave the Horde just because Umbric and Alleria are coping. If anything Blizzard needs to stop putting councils everywhere they go it was already a stretch with Forsaken and the Goblins.
There was a council once in Quel’thalas. It was called Convocation of Silvermoon. And it f-ed up mighty.
From Sylvanas book we can learn that Lor’themar is allergic to councils. Which is why he did not re establish it to this day.
He also is allergic to hereditary rule. He believes that Quel’thalas requires a strong leader, but one based on merit and not by blood.
In WoW ultimate visual guide we learn that Blood Elves in Quel’thalas are very like minded. Not to the point of hive mind but they do display very unified point of view.
So Lor’themar has to tread carefully. No Sin’dorei questions his rule. But they are irritated by his refusal to put a crown on his head and start a new dynasty.
They are patient but eventually will demand of him to stop f-ing around and step up to the role. Or someone else will.
Blood elves want a functioning monarch. And I think that one will be needed to reunify Thalassians.
Its going to be interesting how this reunification plays out, because Blood elves are not leaving the Horde, while High elves an void elves are certainly not leaving the Alliance.
There is a huge conflict of interests here as you may see. Blood elves joined the Hord 18 years ago and have been doing fine without any actual major losses that would mean something. And since the alliance harmed them more then once They felt like that human led coaliton betrayed them.
High elves been part of the alliance forever and for some reason they feel undying loyalty to them despite not seeing any major benefits that would justify to stay. The fans are the same and their most major complaint is that they don’t think the Horde should have any elves but after Legion that is now impossible.
Honey please, grown ups are talkinh, ho play somewhere else.
I am simply observing that the deal with Quel’thalas is a dead end they can’t do right without upsetting one side of the community.
In the same way that Thralls horde is not the same horde as the one that invaded Quelthalas, Garithos alliance is not the same alliance we have today ingame.
Its all a matter of timing, they joined the horde when Garithos betrayal was fresh and they stayed because they found a group of races that will fight for each others right of existence, no questions asked. (Thralls horde) As well as the night elves sending spies and a dwarf diplomat turning out to be a murderer.
When they joined (after you complete ghostlands iirc), they had little reason to trust atleast 3 alliance races, after they joined, they received help stabilizing their homeland and had no more reason to leave
High Elves as of right now are but a grey mass of uncoordinated groups.
Sunchasers from Allerian Stronghold are not in league with Silver Covenant, and neither is Quel’danil Lodge. They all are Alliance friendly but over all are their own separate thing.
Quel’thalas has a beef with Vereesa and her terminally pro Alliance lunatics. Because it is only they who exchanged blows both with Sunreavers and Thalassian host from Silvermoon on Isle of Thunder. At this point Silver Covenant should have a new slogan under their banner.
“You will die to stay this loyal.”
Silver Covenant is a lost cause. Especially now that they are officially homeless. Their own leader wasn’t even there to stand with them during their darkest hour.
Leaving behind a second in command that had a hungover and didn’t respond to Nerubians in time.
Sunchasers are in existential limbo right now. With them it is like having a hard constipation and a violent diarrhea at the same time.
They really would love to return back home, but their sentiment and sense of comradery with the Alliance prevents them from doing so. But maybe in Midnight they will finally come to their senses.
Sunreavers are another possibility. Likewise homeless and not so keen to follow Aethas anymore, as not so many of them responded to his call.
I assume they just gave up and will return to only place on Azeroth they still can call home. Not to mention that Kirin Tor reduced itself to be a simple wizarding order now, so the need for civilians is gone right now.
Those Sunreavers that are not mages must go somewhere
Quel’danil is it’s own thing. So unless some tragedy befalls upon them that shall force them out of their lodge then there’s little reason for them to do anything.
With abandonning magic completely they are pretty much pale skinned Night Elves at this point.
And there is one final possibility. The Arathi High Elves. All we know so far about this Empire is that it’s citizens consider pure blooded humans and elves as a legend now. Whole population identify itself as Arathi right now.
But maybe just maybe not all Elves that accompanied Humans beyond Eastern Kingdoms have participated in this mass hybridization of their kin with humans.
Maybe some are left and their only hope to keep the purity of their blood and prevent it from being bred out of existence is by leaving the Empire and return to Quel’thalas as prodigal sons and daughters of Silvermoon.
To manage all this mess a real Monarch is required to sit on the throne of Quel’thalas.
Lor’themar doesn’t want to be king and sees himself as soldier. Alleria will not accept anything less then Quel’thalas joining the alliance again. There is only one solution to this whole mess and I think it is quite obvious what needs to happen.
Lor’themar also sees himself as a Husband now. And if things progress naturally from this point forward he might see himself as a Father soon as well.
And this is often times a very strong driving force to change person’s point of view.
He might be able to deal with the weight of his own people when it comes to matters of the crown.
But if Nightborne are also just as hard pressing the matter on Thalyssra, then this combined pressure might be too much for them.
Especially if their progeny is born and both Elven societies will use this fact as a weight to bend them into agreeing to secure their legacy as royalty.
the blood elves told the alliance NO multiple times. The most obvious plot point is us seeing Umbric giving in to the void whispers so he has the power to force the Quel’thalas to accept alliance hegomeny or die when they refuse. And yes we know he is THAT radical due to the alliance war campaign back in BFA.
The faction made up from all the cool edgy races that attracted the most dedicated players had numerous disadvantages?
If I could faction swap for free, I would have returned to horde long ago

First of all, currently the player population is very much balanced. Secondly, almost all Horde races are survivors. Especially the blood elves and Orcs. They almost lost everything due in past wars against the alliance and the scourge which is why the Horde didn’t even have half the content the blue team got all the way in vanilla. This is why it took years for Blizzard to even the scales and at least gameplay wise turn the odds. Lore wise the Horde is still the weaker faction while at the same time another super power after the next joins the human coalition from Stormwind. I mean they have the mysteries of the void discoveredm ALL dwarven clans and a frikkin spaceship.
This is a thing you find nowhere else in the MMO genre. All other games that use factions started their teams as equals on inception.
No you are simply making up stuff.
Our benefits are absolutely everything you keep complaining about. And your Blood elves are triving so much that you keep complaining about them non stop as well.
the story developments for the Horde, lorewise are a mess in general.
They magically become strong whenever some leader decides to follow an evil path, studently they have large well equipped armies with mechas and WMDs, then when they follow a righteous path they look weak.
Just think about crazy it is that Garrosh had the budget to secretly build that insane base inside Ragefire Chasm.
Someone ought to made an analysis on the economics of the Horde
I stick together what I see in the game that is all.
You are exiles living in Stormwind. The humans did nothing for you over the years they want you to die in their wars and you rather kill fellow elves before questioning their orders ever. All the other towns you used to live in got destroyed.
Any faction war would be pointless unless the Horde can somehow fix their numbers, magic and technology. We are throwing stones and sticks at people who can lazer us down from the orbit.
the said spaceship decided to do nothing after Legion too. With no justification ever given. It could have ended BFA during the into cinematic.
This reinforces my view that after legion, there should have never been any more faction conflicts, they do not make sense. Sylvanas should have gone rogue without the full support of the rest of the Horde for almost an entire expansion
What happened to your beloved alliance alt that you were posting from ? Got bored ?
Not at all I do with RP all the time are you more comfortable to speak to me as a goat?
They accepted us after our “people” exiled us. And we stopped losing wars.
We are not the Horde sorry.
Fellow elves? A bunch of traitors that joined the faction that tried to eliminate them a bunch of times and had the gall to exile us. Ofc I’m killing them.
