Scarlet Enclave Raid Adjustments Starting 4 June

With scheduled weekly maintenance next week, we will begin to adjust Scarlet Enclave in Season of Discovery. Starting on June 4:

  • Player-characters in Scarlet Enclave will receive a 5% increase to their damage, healing, and health.
  • This will increase by 5% every two weeks.
  • There will be a maximum of 25% increased damage, healing, and health.

See you there!

Pls only for 40m and let 20m stay uneffectet… pleasseee why even bringing this? really wanna speed up killing SOD? let people parse at least on 20m without killing the fun playing actuall mechanics

Annnnd it’s gone.

We just recently cleared the last boss for the first time (we struggled with only having a raid grp of 17-20 for a while) But recently started raiding with 25-27, Made it a ton easier.

But still why even do this? It’s not needed for SoD

But why? People had issues during the first couple of weeks but nobody is asking for this now nor do they want it. Nax was laughably easy, and SE will be the same once this maxes out at 25%, just a 20man dungeon, stand still and pump ignoring every mechanic.

But why, raid is already a walkover once everyone has 6p and you get free tier every 3 weeks without raiding.
The actuall population benefitting from this, that late into the patch must be really small

If you are going to neuter the raid this badly i feel like Scarlet Enclave needs a “hardmode” that keeps the original values of the raid (or even new mechanics) with an added non tier loot drop added to each boss or something.

Cleared 20 man like three weeks ago which is a bit late due to easter break messing with our comp.
And while that was a bit of a challenge since none of our warriors had gotten their OP beat stick AKA Ashbringer at that point and we still had people that were lacking gear, it still felt a bit too easy for what might be the last content we get for SoD.

I get that some people have problems clearing SE even with 30+ people, but it feels like this is just a lazy way of doing things and will probably make SE as much of a joke as what Naxx and any other non SE content has become.
Im not someone that calls for gate keeping, but at least add an alternative for people that still wants to experience a challenge while raiding, and make it worth their while.

Whelp, guess that’s it then.

SoD had a good run and was fun to play, I’ll miss it when my guild and I have nothing left to look forward to. No, we’re not playing Pandiarrhoea; it sucked the first time and I don’t see ‘Classic’ being much better.

Edit: Looks like Pandiarrhoea is the new AoC waiting room.

Can we please have some clarification about the future of our characters? We know there will be something like Era but for SoD. But will there be an option to continue developing our toons beyond level 60?

Thank you

Beat end boss of SE… Leave your SoD character, Create Free 85 on MoP … this is their plan i believe.

just to hammer in that final nail and make sure you go play pandaland, they’re turning the only genuinely challenging content in SOD into a naxx-esque pushover raid.

once this lazy effin aura hits the 25% mark the raid will be beyond a joke.

the raid was hard early on because it turns out tuning a raid for characters that are all decked in full BIS happens to be hard on characters that are not BIS geared.

that story has changed by now.
most people are full tier now if not 1-2 items away, and some have been lucky enough with weapon drops too, making the raid much more manageable… this aura is total overkill.

i was gonna suggest we start trying out actual 20 man sized raids soon due to the numerous gear upgrades the boys and i have obtained over the last month, but this is not even a suggestion i will need to bring to the table if this aura goes through, because it will be beyond easy with 25% more damage/healing/health and a bunch of people in BIS gear.

man i’ll be the first to walk back this rage if it turns out that 25% figure is the magic spot for tuning SE to 20 people exactly, but i’m not gonna hold my breath.

In an effort to support players in Season of Discovery, we’re advancing the incrementing player buff in Scarlet Enclave to increase by 5% every week instead of every 2 weeks. The hotfix is live and the buff has advanced to 10%.

Only health and damage ? what about threat ? cuz tanks have already some struggle to keep aggro on bosses ATM.

In an effort to support players you need to add lucrative gear with horrible drop rate considering their power (aka infusion of souls/Mirage staff) to the vendor for fragments, even if it’s 10 fragments or 20. Gives more incentivization to keep playing to counter the bad RNG of not dropping and then competing with 5-10 others on it.

Also make existing chalices to be able to be break down back to fragments of 3 for those who stockpiling them for nothing, also since they are kind of dead on loot table gives em more value for people to need em and break down for fragments, to get the gear they cannot get since the beginning of SE. On top of it make every boss drop at least 1 chalice.

We dont want more Scarlet, we want C+, SoD TBC, phase 9 or free transfer.

You can choose one Blizzard.
