For some reason my SoD character is no longer in the forum list…
But Back in sunken temple i joined a PuG run every week and eventually i joined their guild.
The thing… they are all german… and well i am not and don’t understand it at all.
So i am never on discord, Tried it a few times in MC & BWL… But it’s just not for me.
I’m sure they talk a lot on there about stats etc.
We had only like 16-20 people a raid before we merged with another guild and the raid was pretty hard then, It became a lot easier when we started running with 24-27.
Now we clear the entire raid easily.
Point is… Maybe a complete PuG needs voice? But from what i’ve seen up to this point, the mechs can be explained without Voice.
Has it not occured to you that the content being too easy is what caused SoD to have such a short lifespan in the first place?
ST was good to begin with. The first nerf was alright, but the next 2-3? Made the raid faceroll and boring. The same happened with MC, BWL, AQ and Naxx.
And now everyone is basically done with SE too. A brand new, never seen before raid, completed in a couple months by EVERYONE because you didn’t want to have to communicate with people while doing it.
The raids aren’t the problem; you are.
Maybe, just maybe a group of uncoordinated green parses werent meant to clear everything week 1?
I believe if said Green Parsers went beyond the supposed numbers the raid was balanced around they shouldn’t be hitting enrage timers. And yet they did.
SE wasn’t properly balanced for 20 people. Well unless the intention was for only top 1% to clear it. The DPS check was that tight and the rewards were only marginally better than Naxx gear statwise. You need between 2-6 pieces of New Tier to actually feel a difference assuming it’s actually better. Kind reminder that the first wall was actually the second Boss. Which made gearing up to raise power next to impossible and something that would take between 2-6 weeks depending on luck, because reminder you needed 6 chalice fragments for a full one and the amount you’d get was random. So yeah it wasn’t exactly well made.
The raid wasn’t ‘meant’ for 20 people, it was meant for 20 good people; those struggling had the option of bringing up to 40, doubling their playerpower.
Not good. It was meant for 20 Purples/Oranges playing perfectly. You needed over 7k DPS from every Damage Dealer to somehow scrape by before hitting the enrage.
Those players weren’t excluded, they were going to be able to clear the raid eventually as they got stronger every week.
If everybody clears everything the first week, the content ends faster.
Did you cry that the entire playerbase was excluded from Kael’thas during original TBC? No probably not, I assume you were too young to have internet access back then.
Successful by what margin? People having 7 alts each? Who knew that reaching lvl25 was so easy that you could have multiple characters.
I think I have more authority on the matter than you, a 0-post tourist.
Congratulations, the content is all done after a month; all the raids get cleared in 1 night and you no longer have anything to look forward to nor anything to improve for. You win the game. Now what, join the numpties that are crying that they want their SoD characters transferring to incompatible game versions?
Poor attempt at a counter rebuttal. But then there’s nothing you can say really. There’s not many things that are worse than being a 42 year old that’s cryng that easy raid content is too hard for you.
