Scholo .. 50g Per Run For Tank

Sounds like you should make some friends who are tanks

Just because you are willing to waste your time in a dungeon that provides nothing for your character progression, it doesn’t mean other people would do the same. The argument “it is fun” does not apply, because a large part of the fun is looting useful items, which raiding tanks no longer have from Scholo or any other dungeons.
There is nothing wrong to provide services for payment. It is no different than crafting items and selling them on the Action House.

If you are moaning about not enough tanks and they make too much, you are part of the problem. Reroll tank and tank people’s dungeons for free, the more people do this the less the problem will be.

So your only two options are:

  1. Pay them.
  2. Become them.

Nice try.
Obviously the payment is in addition to the regular income.
Basically the same thing as the extra loot box ever since WLK.

Of course it’s fine to pass on loot, but then the price tag is supposed to compensate for it. Note, the other four players gain 25% extra income in the process.

I don’t think I would ever hire a tank, nor do I think I would ever want to charge someone. But I understand that someone would try to incentivize me.

To some extent the instant “queue” can be an incentive. Wasted about 40 minutes (and travel costs) yesterday in front of a dungeon, eventually disbanding.

Guilds provide a great barter solution, where the next day some other guildie tanks for your character somewhere.

In Light’s Hope I had to pay a tank 10g to do LBRS to get my 2% Crit trinket.

I used to say that to Retailers, that they will be payin’ tanks to do Strat, Scholo and LBRS post DM launch and ofc the fanbois were like

“OMG THESE THINGS ONLY HAPPEN ON PIRATE SERVERS”

We told you.

You must support tanks and some healers every way you can. Demanding to run X dungeon for the 50th time considering they won’t get any loot is dumb af. Especially for tanks that will have to pay more repair bill than actually earn by running a dungeon. (helping friends doesn’t apply).

Tanks and healers are sacrificing so much of themselves and their viability in outworld content and wpvp that they deserve to be assisted however you can. I always tip my tanks and even pay their repair bills if they died. Given I don’t do dungeons anymore at all and won’t ever consider doing unless payed or a friend has trouble finding the role.

Tanks and healers didn’t sacrifice anything, are you ok?

Tanks and healers rolled their roles specifically to be able to get in groups and gear faster than everyone else, so now they are so much ahead of everybody that they don’t even need anything from dungeons LOL and rolled out of tanking / healing into DPS with the fast gear they got, hence the sudden shortage. Some just enjoy tanking and healing as well.

If anything, It’s DPS who sacrifice a ton of time just to be able to play the class / role they like.

Dafuq are you talking about sacrifices LOL.

Tanks nor healers can’t farm outside world nearly as efficiently, they suck if they get ganked, their jobs are objectively harder in raids and dungeons (less margin of error), and their leveling speed is also quite a bit slower (some don’t know that you can shadow heal till lvl 55 or Dps tank till 50). Tanks also have more repair bill (x4 times + everything from getting all those damage on you which you wouldn’t get otherwise).

You only need 2 tanks for Raids for every 38 people on top of all of this. 2 people will gear out way faster than the rest so they won’t need to do dungeons anymore unless paid or they wanna help a friend. To a point where they are only viable again in tanking and they still get shat on in wpvp and cant farm gold. They sacrifice everything.

Dude tanks and healers who got their prebis rolled DPS long time ago.

Few who are left are either still gearing up so you gotta be lucky to catch them, or they are dedicated maintanks and healers in their raid groups and they don’t care about doing dungeons even for gold.

A few entitled precious tanks who think they are better than everyone else in the game just cuz they’re tanking and demand money should gtfo.

yup … no sacrifices from tanks and healer. they just love to see what leggings and boots the mobs have whole day long or half a screen of party / raid frames and clicking those lines. pretty sure most of them rolled class / role they like :stuck_out_tongue:

Well then good luck waiting for 60+ minutes. The problem is present and a reality. You claiming otherwise won’t change anything. If tanks could be viable in farming gold and wpvp you’d see way more of them. (which you do in games that allow that)

I love watching those colored bars go left and right <3 Can’t wait for tbc when both factions have all the classes and I’ll be able to see 1 color more <3

BTW I’m healing in raids because I want the t1 set for pvp and will switch back to Shadow when the raid doesn’t need me and p2 pvp sets are out. only 4 purples to go <3

This failed attempt at sarcasm is one of the most retarded things I’ve read on these forums, GZ m8. Won’t even bother commenting tho.

Yup just what i was talking about. Get gear ahead of actual shadow priests just because you’re a “precious healer” then reroll DPS with the fast epix you got. So much sacrifices, dude you’re a wow martyr.

I can’t mara farm now to get my gold, I can’t kill rogues that gank me, or half the classes that I could. I’m just logging in to RP and raid/raidpvp thats it. That is why im on forums.

ofc … cause due to u’re vast knowledge … the priest t1 is like the bis gear for a shadow priest
he is healing in raids cause thats the only thing available for him atm … he will switch to shadow AFTER he gets the pvp gear … and he has no advantage in the race for that pvp gear.
so pls … stop wasting time on forums and go roll a tank or a healer if u care so much.

Supply and demand. The reality is that money is a medium for exchange and that’s the market value of that service. Just like in real life, you have to accept and embrace that money comes into everything. There’s no point fighting it.

Playing the game for a reward is fun. If a dungeon doesn’t have a reward, asking for one to go in KNOWING you’ll get no upgrades is fair.

Maybe you could at least offer the tank all non-upgrade items so he can at least DE them.

Ok easy fix, don’t buy their service
