I was wondering how much of a catch up system or if at all are the scourge invasion rewards? I’m level 52 and I was wondering if I couls do them now and possibly use that gear in raids at 60.

pretty much 0 catch up gear that is directly tied to the scourge invasion.
the only gear rewards only give extra stats ONLY vs undead and are lvl 60.
you will be better off just joining a molten core raid when you want fast gear for higher end raiding.

the 18 slot bag you can obtain after the event. these new rewards from turning in insignias of the crusade/dawn isn’t tied to the invasion.

on retail you could get it until WOTLK release if I recall correctly.

I double checked wowhead. you could even get it during WOTLK, so it was removed with the cata zone rewamp.
