Really bad idea about the xp buff. Don’t really care about the raid changes.
Leveling is esencial to the classic wow. I know it’s not exactly classic, but SoD and still it will ruin half of the experience of playing wow.
Cleary whoever suggested this is a retail player where the end game is the goal, but I very much enjoyed, and still am, seeing players in open world, grouping for quests and so on.
Buffing experience is the worse idea I heard so far in SoD.
Not a fan of mount price reduction as well.
It’s not fun if it’s easy. Please do not make the game centre around convenience.

not everyone has to run arround in “top tier BiS” when youre gonna have plenty of options of gearing your characters to a decent point im guessing at 60, just from rep gear/ crafts etc. Make raiding actually a challenge and rewarding, not broken loot tier, but rewarding
Soo much this, devs are pushing for the community to communicate with each other etc. But then you guys release a note saying that you want to introduce literally braindead puggable raids.
Whats the point of guilds then?
Might aswell backpeddal on your gdkp ban and just change this game into a farse
I really like your overall ideas.
What i really lack and miss is that alliance can play shaman and horde can play paladin.
I know it was in the original classic not different, but its just frustrating that you cannot play the class you loved for really no reason.
Since its the season of discovery, it would really make sense to include that. It doesnt seem like a lot of work, but you would help many players, make them very happy and really nobody will be hurt.
Just an idea: Dwarf Shaman and undead paladin. Just include some class npcs and the minimum amount of class quests to keep the work effort small.
Would really love that <3

You believe its a single player game just like IRL then you will be a loser that needs stuff catered for you. They made retail for you already. IRL they will not make you anything and you can be the best tryhard but still without a company with many people to earn stuff you will not achieve anything alone if people do not work with you and for you.
So please go back to retail where you can solo pump the raid and let Classic be Classic. That is a guild of 40 people can do what 10 people can not.
SoD was supposed to be something new for Classic players not a home to all retail failures who cant complete their own version of the game and want to bring it to Classic and dumb down the content to being 10-20 man.
You have LFR in retail already and dungeons with NPCs so use that instead of trying to ruin the fresh Classic with whining for easy stuff with as few people as possible.

for the love of god keep the 10 man raid size, its the best raid size since 2007 and people have been asking for it to come back and now you ditch it again?

Do you have any take that isn’t braindead? We get it, you have no idea what retail is, and how it differs from vanilla. People like you are a dime a dozen. Can you just leave? Go yell at some clouds.
I would like to see dual talent specialization implemented in SoD. In my opinion it fits the discovery aspect of the game and it would be a nice quality of life improvement (just like the implementation of Revive for druids for example).
I really enjoy the both the PvP and PvE content in the game, but the talent build for either one, doesn’t suit the other. And apart from the costs from respeccing every time, it’s also just a hassle.
Besides it would also benefit hybrid classes like shamans and druids by a lot and perhaps improve the engagement of people to try out different specs.

I have read about modern retail as I said I quit after Cata since pandas was not my thing in an MMO.
So in modern retail they have looking for raid and they have dungeons with npcs so people skip finding a group or cooperating. They also hand out catch up epics that started in wotlk.
No sense of achievment in those games, so please Blizzard make a SoD spilit. One for retail players with everything for free and LFR option to 10 man free looting like BFD. And other for Classic players who want it to be like before with grind and unique items that not everyone get and that if someone play for 10 minutes a day they are not supposed to have same stuff as someone who play 6 hours a day because “give me I got 100 children, 5 wifes and 10 jobs IRL”.
Make 2x versions of SoD that would make everyone happy. SoD retail and SoD Classic.
Like I said, absolutely no clue about anything, but living on the forums having a cry every time someone has an informed opinion. A dime a dozen, but worth nothing. Your opinion literally does not matter, because your opinion is as uninformed as it could ever be.
Retail players making characters on a CLASSIC client and demanding a raid downsize really sums it all up, you guys shid where you eat and get bored so easily.

Great changes Blizzard! Don’t listen to all the crying old heads.
If it was up to them our gear and gold would be dropping from our corpses on death à la Star Wars Galaxies.

We refuse to go back to retail we will stay here and ruin your classic MUAHAHHAHAHAH.
And there is nothing you fools can do to stop us!
If you think lfr and npc dungeons are anywhere near endgame, or even preparing for endamge in retail you have 0 idea what you’re talking about.
Gearing in retail is alot more complex than gearing in classic, catch up gear is good enough to get into the absolute lowest tier of m+, maybe decent enough to do flex raids.
people just refuse to understand that both gearing and raiding dynamics in retail are completely diffrent from classic, or they’re just being obtuse because “ReTaIl BaD”, despite the fact they havent touched the game in 5-10 years and have no idea whats actually happening.
They’re 2 different games, retail has more content to cater to more casual people, retail also has more content to cater to cutting edge raiders.
Classic has become so simple, people are making up their own rules just to make the raids they have more challenging. If you need to speedrun raids to have a sense of challenge, there’s something fundamentally wrong with the raids themselves.

Once again this is advertised as fresh Classic and they said before start no changing 40 man raid.
So back to season of retail since this is season of Classic not made for ppl failing at retail and wanting to destroy our game.
All Classic players please post as much as you can so Blizzard see its our game!
