Seems like 80-90% of BG lately are premade and it has made me tired of PvP

In War Within they ought to bring a new mechanism in pvp that awards you minimal conquests for example, if you’re capturing or defending a bases, you earn 10 conquest, and maybe even add bonus honor if you have slain an Grand Marshal/High Warlord (honor points varying based on pvp rank)

also one of the WW features is removal of russians players from PVP by denying them expansion purchase

Yet again, I will reiterate, nobody is suggesting for a second that you shouldn’t be able to play with friends, but for those of us like myself and many others, that don’t want to join with friends, (mine are dead anyway) we would like somewhere where we can simply just log in, press join BG without having to go searching for people likeable enough to want to have to team up with, without having to face teams. There are many, many players who play solo, all we are saying is there should be a venue for both. But hey, let’s just keep repeating the ‘But we wanna play with friends’ mantra even though nobody is trying to prevent that.

I can already see all the bad players who cry about Russians scapegoating the French instead or something similarly stupid like blaming premades even more.
And as always, the Russians who really want to still play the game will find a way around it.

Sorry that your former friends are dead, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make new ones.
I get asked all the time by random players if they can join my community and play bgs with me. I’m not even a particularly extroverted person. Like how do people play hundreds of rounds alone and not find even a single person to play with them?

The mantra that’s really being repeated here is “Just go play RBG, bro.”
I hope that everyone understands now why group players like us can not “Just go play RBG, bro.”
At least not that easily.

As a solo player, you can simply not be as effective as a group of friends. It’s the most normal thing. Why do so many people struggle to accept this? Whenever I lose to a larger group I just think to myself “Well, if I had more reliable mates, we would have won.” and it’s fine for me.

Completely separating queues would just massively inflate the queue times.

I have autism, Tourettes and ADH, among other problems… I don’t like or want to join with other people, or make new friends in a game where the people really aren’t very likeable anyway. I simply want to play the game I’ve played on n off for the past 2 decades, without having to face teams of wannbe pro players that have to take the most basic and casual form of PVP and turn it into a caustic and toxic semi pro type game. These are bog standard, ordinary BG’s but you have teams of players giving it the Big I am. There needs to be places that people like myself can play the game without having to face these sort of teams, I don’t give a monkeys if it’s rated or not but teams should have to face teams. The only people I’d envisage having longer queue times, would be the teams, whereas I would fully expect the non team BG to flourish without teams roflstomping almost every game. I mean, we get rewarded for BG’s but surely rewards are something that should be hard fought, and not just cakewalked.

Blitz or rated solo bgs with the launch of the next expansion.

In other words it would suck for everyone who doesn’t want to go solo?
That sounds very egoistic.

We will have to report them for hate spech against our collective!!!

Wow, crazy! It’s almost like people are completely aware that WoW PvP is completely unattractive and unfun for new/casual/learning/returning players because of horrendous cringelords that are too bad at the game to go and queue rated against people with equal gear and equal skill!

Yeah well, we’re sick of having to face these teams who don’t care that their team gaming, is ruining the game for many people, it’s absolutely no more egotistical than that, or the wallopers that try to bring ratings in to debates over randoms, no more egotistical than those. If premade play is so negatively affecting BG’s, and they are, then that is the fault of those in those premades, not the general random who is just looking for a game they can just hop into for some casual fun. I’d happily take a longer queue any day over some whitewash of game, regardless of which side of that whitewash I was on.

If playing in groups of up to 5 is explicitly allowed, the people who play in groups are doing nothing wrong and are not at fault for anything. Group up and fight back. It is not the “fault” of your opponents that they make you lose as long as they play fair. You are not making use of your potential to group up with others. It is a deliberate choice. Bear the consequences then.

“The general random” has no aversion to grouping up with other people and gladly joins groups because it is normal to play an MMORPG with friends. “The general random” sees a buddy queuing for bgs, clicks on quick join, has some casual fun, gets to experience cool, memorable and funny moments in bgs together with their friends, says ggs and thx for the rounds, and has a good time.

Wow, crazy! It’s almost like people prefer to play with people with equal gear and skill instead of unaware noobs that get one-shotted due to gear imbalance which results in HP difference of factor 5 and even queue as healers

Imagine performing like this  just to have a random 300k hp healer getting orbs and get instantly focused the whole game, almost as if they tryhard to lose the game for everyone else

Can you explain “perfoming like this” ? Because the only thing i see there is a almost fully geared MM Hunter that killed some people with orbs.

And to the topic.
A fair change to the system like that would be awesome but it’s Blizz and a PvP Problem… so kinda unrealistic that something will happen.

Don’t know if trolling, but ok, let me spell it out for you:

There are 5 hunters.
One has more kills and almost the same damage as the other 4 hunters combined.
That one hunter also farmed the most victory points for his team, despite not taking a single orb (which he doesn’t because of Glass Cannon MM and no heal)

If that is so easy, I wonder why the performance difference is so huge then… Almost like some randoms play without gear, enchants, knowledge or brain… Which is exactly my point

300k healers taking orbs directly after getting killed the whole match… lol… and you wonder why people prefer to queue in a group

Really takes some mad skills to sniper shot to get longer range, now your explosive shot, aimed shot and rapid fire reaches the middle from narnia and ofcourse you volley to get the trick shot and it bounces to every other orb carrier.

Surely the pinnacle of skill and this game has never seen anything like it before.

NEVER been above 1800 and talks about skill, lol

The second guy on the board in term of damage is a MM Hunter in greens and zero enchants.
So playing a class/spec that is by default at the top i wouldn’t call “skillful or insane performance”.

Exactly, that’s why a System is needed where a Premade with only almost- or fully geared People only fight a equal team.

I am 3500 rated in random battlegrounds. Can’t take that away❤️

Fair.
My initial answer was to a “cringelord” that is bashing players who are geared, skilled and play random BGs in groups (which has been allowed by the game since it came out), like it was cheating or whatever. I just posted the obvious motivation to play in such groups, which is dodging uncarryable noobs (from which a lot come to the forums and cry)

Tell me what takes skill in a random battleground
