Reset and went to my vault, awakened tier item was offered. Had the same set bonuses as S3 Amirdrassil so I thought “Hmm… ok, it must just be a stat increase and they must have accounted for it being a different tier.”

Could they not be all merged into one big set? I can’t see the need to break the bonus and have to start a 4 set again if we’re keeping the same bonuses.
Probably to keep the playing field even with people who did not vote for season 3 tier bonus.
No, that should not be ok to do, remember u have the same tier set as in S3, most classes dont so no would be really unfair.
Adding to the reason already mentioned by others here, it would also mean that people who didn’t play in S3 would start off way further behind than you.
Sadly those of us who have S3 tier again are at a slight disadvantage as we can’t old 2 set and new 2 set. We basically have to wait for the full 4 set to swap over.
I guess they didn’t consider it fair for us to be able to mix and match but I would have preferred that.
