The amount of Interrupts and Micro CC makes setting up near impossible and when you do, it’s instantly dispelled.
Driven to Madness should make Mind Spike and Mind Blast instant cast.
Void Torrent should be immune to interrupts like Eye Beam and Make all damage over time effects on the target immune to dispels for the duration of Void Torrent.
Void Volley should be redesigned. When Vampiric Touch is dispelled, the dispelled target shoots Void Volley. Has a 15 second internal cool-down
I agree in current state and meta Void Torrent should be uninterruptable for its duration, and I find it funny that a melee got interrupt immunity on a cast, while it’s a melee, and then SP which is a caster doesn’t have that (unless you successfully pull out a gimmick).
What I’d personally start with:
Void Eruption / Dark Ascension should be instant cast. A “burst” having a hard cast to apply is completely senseless
Bring back damnation
VTouch should have better dispel protection.
Devouring Plague (literally our ONLY spender, in a state where our insanity generation has been severely nerfed) should deal damage when dispelled
Shadow Word Pain should apply a snare while it’s up on a target. SP has zero mobility and zero proper gap openers, and then it’s the only DPS spec which doesn’t have a snare on its toolkit (and a channeled ability which applies a snare isn’t a real snare in my eyes).
Mind Blast damage is competely pitiful. Its base damage should be at least trippled from what it is right now. Hitting for 20k, and 40k crits is a complete joke and SL values
Phantasm should provide snare/root immunity for a couple of seconds
