Shadowbreaker
The main idea for <Shadowbreaker> is that it is a raiding guild, we do not have a hardcore setup but we raid every week without fail and it is visible that everyone is giving their complete dedication. We have many people from all across the globe in our community and each person brings their own charm and character. We are looking for all types of players to join our ranks, if you are interested in anything from Raiding to Mythic + to Old Content, I am sure the <Shadowbreaker> community has something for you.
Here is some information about the guild that I hope will be useful to you:
Ranks
We have numerous ranks within the guild that reflect your commitment to the guild, your contribution and your level of commitment to World of Warcraft, we understand that not everyone has the same amount of time to play WoW but we have a rank for all types of players:
Officers: These are the players who manage and organise all aspects of the guild and manage players if the need be.
Veteran Raider: This rank is given to a player when they have defeated a certain number of bosses with the guild on the current difficulty.
Raider: This is the rank all players will have when they start to raid with the guild.
Member: When you first join the guild, you will be assigned the rank of Member.
Raiding
<Shadowbreaker> has been raiding all through Battle for Azeroth, it really started to become important within the guild after Uldir which we completed on Normal and nearly all on Heroic, Battle of Dazar’alor was more impactful for the guild and because of this we completed it on Normal and Heroic which included Jaina Curve. With Patch 8.2 and the release of The Eternal Palace, we have taken the fight to Queen Azshara and have defeated here and all bosses on Normal, we are currently progressing on Heroic and currently standing at 6/8 Bosses cleared, with only Za’qul, Harbinger of Ny’alotha and Queen Azshara herself left to take down.
Raid Times:
We currently raid two days a week on the following days and times:
Thursdays from 20:00 till 22:30
Tuesdays from 20:00 till 22:30
With every reset we tend to start a fresh lockout due to the fact that a lot of powerful pieces of gear especially trinkets drop from the middle bosses of this Raid. Due to progressing on the last two bosses, some raids may last an additional 30 minutes depending on the mood of the raid and the amount of progress achieved.
Recruitment:
We currently are looking to recruit any of the below:
Shadow Priests
Warlocks (All Specs)
Mages (All Specs)
Balance Druids
Elemental Shamans
Windwalker Monks
Rogues (All Specs)
Death Knights (Unholy)
Minimal requirements:
I believe that the guild’s strength is the ability to teach others and work together, so we do not have as strict requirements as other guilds we do have a few:
- We require players to have a minimum Item level of 415 before they can join us in Heroic Eternal Palace.
- Completion of Eternal Palace on Normal mode and understanding of fight mechanics and the differences between Normal and Heroic.
- Patience and the ability to try different methods even if you haven’t done or agree with them.
Mythic +
A big portion of <Shadowbreaker> is Mythic + and we currently have a couple of groups that get together a few times a week to do some Keystones with levels ranging from +8 to +14 more so towards the end of the week leading to the weekend. We have a lot of interest and enjoyment from Mythic + from all members so we tend to help each other out whenever enough people are online including running alts through some higher keys so as many characters as possible can get a +10 Chest every reset. Players who are not interested or currently confident with Raiding are welcome to join the Guild and be part of our Mythic + community and hopefully becoming more comfortable with the guild and its members will tempt you into joining raids.
Minimal requirements:
Like with raiding we do not have strict guidelines with Mythic + and most of the below are to do with higher keystones and can be completed through experience with slightly lower keystones, these include:
- Understanding of Trash and Boss mechanics in all Battle for Azeroth dungeons.
- Understanding the weekly affixes and the seasonal affix.
Other Activities
The guild performs other activities outside of Raiding and Mythic + so we hope that there is something that peeks your interest in <Shadowbreaker>:
Operation: Mechagon
We currently have one group that farms Operation: Mechagon Hardmode every reset, once every member of this group has looted the Hardmode mount we will be opening up slots in this group to the rest of the guild so everyone will have a chance of the mount. We have interest in this extended dungeon so hopefully soon we can have another group that can tackle Hardmode.
PvP:
Though PvP is not a common practice in <Shadowbreaker> we occasionally run Random Battlegrounds and Arena. You will find that more people are interested in PvP when we have the Weekly Battleground or Arena Events. A small group of the guild participates in World PvP and complete the weekly PvP quests, they also complete World Quests and Assaults in Warmode.
Mythic Island Expeditions:
Mythic Island Expeditions are always an enjoyable and quick alternate to the other activities in the guild, most times their will be plenty of people online that will be happy to run some Islands for the weekly cap or just to pass the time.
RP:
Roleplaying is a very small part of the guild, it is something I personally hope will become a bit more relevant in the guild with more interested parties.
Miscellaneous:
Members of the guild are always looking for activities to keep themselves busy, that is why we will create groups and raids to do Transmog runs, Achievement runs and groups for events like Timewalking.
