Why are the recipes locked behind the raid?
If you dont want to raid, you aren’t allowed to get items that most likely are going to be vital to your perfomance and class balance across the board?
Why are people FORCED to raid?
This is just going to encourage the selling of ‘‘Legendary Recipe Boosts’’.
i dont know for certain but they did say at some point that the legendary and conduit recipes might come from multiple locations to not make people feel like they are forced to do content that they dont want to do, they might still be figuring it out, maybe a currency of some kind that allows you to get them from a vendor, but i havnt seen any specifics on it from beta

I’m presuming the raid version will drop in LFR as well.
How is this any form of consolation?

If getting a recipe is a high priority for you, you will find a way to get into a raid, if it isn’t that big a priority you can wait until LFR is released.
Normal groups generally take anyone when the raid is first released because we are all nubs gearing up, there are no high ePeen requirements. They are often good fun too, everyone is trying to get to grips with the tactics and what they need to do.
Alright wonderful, how much do you think a castle nathria recipe boost run is going to cost? 500k gold?
Because it takes zero effort therefor you have no excuse and that fact rectifies your “encourage the selling of Legendary boost” complaint.
If you’re choosing not to do the available content then yes, you wait.
Also as Punyelf says Legendary items have multiple sources, be it raids, PVP, dungeons, or even from reputations / world content. Everyone will be able to acquire any of the Legendary recipes if they want with minimal effort.

I doubt there will be any boost runs early on in the expansion.
Edit to add - judging by your armory and the keys you have done, you are more than capable of completing Normal raid 
(if you didn’t want to wait for LFR).
And why do you care about the BEST ITEMS FOR YOUR CLASS THAT ALLOW YOU TO PERFORM THE BEST if you aren’t going to be raiding?
Just to feel good about yourself…? To kill rats in Stormwind easier? Why? Do you think they should maybe just make all loot from raids obtainable in Stockades perhaps?
Could you please also let us know why you are even playing this game? Nothing better to do? You don’t sound like you actually even want to play, more like you want to stand in Goldshire witb BiS all day, please confirm.
Normal is pretty simple to complete if you want your legendary early .
Ah yes, because buying one for honor points and clearing the entire current raid tier after 3 hours of vetting through achievements and raid logs is definently the same amount of effort.

Failing LFR, normal, which is easily done too.
They’re also different Legendary items tailored towards different things, sort of the same concept of essences.
Yeah im stubborn, because i am timegated out of gear that will most likely be essential to my class.
I cant raid, i have no guild, and 0 raid experience. So why lock me out of it? Was it fun for Raiders when conflict and strife was locked behind arena rating?
Having the best Legendary item right from the start will only be essential to people pushing world first, in which case they’re raiding and will acquire their best Legendary anyway.

You can raid, you’re choosing not to.
The day that the raid goes live (even most of the first week) is the best day to pug, look for normal groups in the group finder and apply. No one has any gear, everyone is pretty equal.

You’re more qualified than me. Highest M+ I’ve bothered to do this expansion is an 8, one time, and I am still able to get into normal pug groups.
Nobody will have relevant raid experience when SL comes out, every tier is a fresh start.
You’ve done every M+ at 15, a good amount at 16, and some at 17. Getting into one +15 is honestly harder than getting into a normal raid pug, I don’t understand why you’re holding normal raids in such a high regard.
When Antorus came out me and my son had no clue and just made a raid… we had a lot of fun on the first night it came out.
If you are willing to lead a group people don’t expect much of you on day 1… we did really well and figured it out as we went.
