Actually all those mounts are based on the Dread Raven mount from the Warlords of Draenor Collectors Edition.

You’re absolutely right, so the reuse is even older than I thought.
Isn’t it based on the original Anzu mount? Which is a raptor with feathers if you look at the scheleton so yeah. I guess we should apreciate their fidelity to biological evolution, from dinosaur to bird.

The drake don’t have 30K variations (personally I think this is a grossly overestimated number, but whatever) and way beter…
Taste my differ, but if I woudl want a stone whatever, I would use the Venthyr gargoyle not a build-your-own stone parrot
I don’t mind stone per se, I used to enjoy the JC onyx panther for example, but here it’s not working imo

Stone pets and maunts are usually cool, I mean one one my favorite is the quasi-stone wolf from SL
But this store one is… eh, not so much

The 300k is simply the result of multiplication of the various customization options that gives you the maximum number of possible combinations.
Total Variations = 4 x 4 x 5 x 3 x 6 x 6 x 6 x 6 = 311,040
But seeing over 300k variations of this thing in game highly depends on people’s imagination and how many people actually buy it, in short it’s exaggeration marketing.
To actually see each of the unique possible combinations as one person, by making one version per day you would need 851.58 years to see them all.
So will you able to make a unique mount for yourself for the rest of WoW life or your life with this? Yes. If you dedicate time to make one daily that is. But seeing all over 300k is impossible. Realistically you are paying 30 euros to make a few here and there until the next one catches your eye.
This buyer wasn’t too impressed.
If this mounts like any other store mounts, this is the kind of models we’ll see in the last titan.
I read comments said this mount is too small.
I wondered if they did check in store’s details before pay.
