Shift and CTRL buttons do not work ingame

With the installment of the new patch, I had my hotkeys reset and some of my buttons not work at all. I cannot socket gems, see the dressingroom or divide items. Basically, I can’t use my shift or ctrl buttons.

I tried resetting, reinstalling, deleting addons , WTF folders and what not. The buttons just don’t work and I am at a loss atm.

Anyone with some fresh ideas?

Most commonly, this is down to another program intercepting the inputs, normally an overlay of some form. Best way to diagnose this is to make sure nothing else is running in the background that might be intercepting them: https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/23848
