Based on your logic it should’ve been flawless, considering it should’ve been tried and tested back in 2010.
And yes, the fact Remix is nothing like OG MoP is exactly the point!
Remix MoP can in no way be compared or used for testing MoP Classic.
MoP Classic is somewhere in the middle of OG MoP and Retail MoP-content, so yes…
Beta testing MoP is not only expected but needed - I’d be pleasantly surprised if it’s flawless.
You’re more than welcome to argue that Blizzard should do all the testing internally instead of asking the community for free help.
But people like me are eager to join the beta.
I also opt-in to the beta, so I can fix potental bugs or breaking changes in addons.

As someone who quit after OG Wrath, Classic is my chance to play though the expansions I newer played - in a way you simply can’t do in Retail.
I’ll quit when it’s no longer fun, or when Blizzard pulls the plug.
I know many players dislike the word Classic, as they do not consider these expansions as classic, so maybe Blizzard should simply rename it to WoW Replay or something like that, because isn’t that exactly what it is? Us replaying the previous expansions.
Honestly, I would rather have such a “classic” on retail. I could play missions, dungeons and raids with my class, having a lower level for a given expansion, and actually have some challenge, and not have everything for a hit. For someone who started their adventure with BFA, I would gladly play all the previous expansions in my free time. Retail takes up a lot of time anyway, so I don’t really want to create a new character completely from scratch, just for the experience.
Its probably because the server infrastructure and game compatibility has changed with newer systems coming over .
Thats why they still need to test the game 
Can they test retail releases while they’re at it?
we can ask tah to test retail builds on behalf of blizzard as his subscription has ran out and he doesnot have any other thing to do anyways 
I signed 3days ago when you post this, still nothing. How long it takes to inv new waves of players?
What I have fond memories of in MoP is running circles around enemies with my rogue with Burst of Speed while throwing shuriken at them till they died
