I decided to check out rogue again now that it’s been pruned in the prepatch. I’m loving the changes, but I’m running into a weird issue that I’m pretty sure I’ve never encountered before. When I’m in dungeons, I randomly get pulled out of stealth for no apparent reason. I tested quite a bit. I’m not in combat, I don’t accidentally run into AoE, I don’t cast anything that breaks stealth, I don’t have any negative status effects on me that break stealth. In one dungeon I even intentionally hung back from fights to test and it seems to usually pull me out of stealth shortly after the group starts combat, even if I’m nowhere close enough.
Now granted, it’s been a while since I mained a rogue, but I’m pretty sure I never ran into this issue this past. I would have definitely remembered it and not have been annoyed by it happening now if it was a feature of the class. I mained a rogue all the way from Legion to SL, and only stopped playing one in DF because it got very bloated (imo).
Other than the energy issues, sin feels like it’s shaping up to be a class I can main again in Midnight, but this issue is really annyoing in dungeons. Even if stealth isn’t really that important to sin rogues in dungeons.
Is this a known bug with the class or intentional design that I just missed somewhere along the way?
