Since when are the PvP armor set achievements working like this?

I was away for 8 months and maybe things have changed in the meantime but I have recently stumbled upon an issue with the “Cosmic Chic” achievement.

I seem to recall that during the S1 and S2 SL PvP season I earned the set achievement by collecting the entire aspirant armor set. Now, during S3, however, after completing the aspirant set I have not received the “Cosmic Chic” achievement.

I have reached out to the support about this and the response was that I need to change the aspirant armor to the gladiator one by using the “Creation Catalyst”. Uhm… Pardon me, but is this a completely new requirement for the achievement? And if so, why is this not properly explained anywhere? I am a casual achievement collector with almost 30k achievement points and honestly, such a condition is just baffling.

I am now questioning my own memory in regards to S2 but I am sure someone knows better.

Anyone?

I know nothing about the achievement but catalyst didnt exist in s2 so its possible they did alter whatever it is.
